Food was delicious, particularly the partridge main and beetroot starter. Sweet treats with coffee for dessert is excellent value. Love the setting and the attentive staff. Highly recommend.

Overall experience was very good, the scotch egg starter was excellent and the rest of the courses didn't disappoint cant wait to go again.

We were a little disappointed by the food,my partridge was over cooked and the kale gritty, I had a mojito that had too much lemon and mint in it,was very sour, but was replaced and taken off bill, the steak was very good. We were expecting decour to be a little more comfortable as you would expect from a recommended dining experience. The staff were excellent, helpful, chatty, attentive. Was only just value for money, wouldn't rush back.

Booking service excellent, easy and trouble free.
    Welcome excellent, warm and professional.
Atmosphere lovely. Ambient lighting, un- fussy elegance . One slightly louder group of lads was unobtrusively encouraged to another area which meant our group were more able to chat and hear each other. Thank you, very thoughtful and diplomatically handled.
Food delicious - interesting menu great service.
Have already recommended the Terrace to others.
Thank you for a lovely evening.

Partridge was delicious. My friend loved the fish stew.
The service on both occasions I have been here has been excellent. Friendly, but very professional and super attentive.
We had a small baby with us and everyone was extremely accommodating.

Staff were very friendly and helpful and food and wine good value. But the requested quiet table was situated between the bar and kitchen and next to most of the staff waiting to wait. We had to sit opposite each either at enough distance not adjacent so had a job chatting.

Excellent and friendly service. Rather a lack of vegetarian choice as don't like mushrooms or goats cheese.

Works well as a rooftop cocktail bar with terrace on a summer evening with good views over the city, There are 5 flights of steps to climb, the lift was not working so may be difficult access for some people. Does not work so well as a restaurant, although the staff were very good. the menu is limited and quite expensive. My wife had oven cooked plaice with leeks which she was pleased with at £16. I had 2 small pieces of chicken breast which was not tender with a tiny potato cake and a couple of mushrooms, no sauce or gravy on the plate which made the meal dry and could have fitted onto a tea plate, at £16 was not good value. The wine came only by the bottle or one glass size, you paid for a small glass of wine about the same as you would pay for a large glass elsewhere. Not recommended for reasonably priced lunch
