Housed in the picturesque Woodbury Park Hotel and Golf Club, The Terrace Bar and Grill serves wholesome British food. Dine in the conservatory with scenic views, or relax by the log fire and open hearth.

From the open kitchen, chefs create a range of fresh steaks, burgers, salads and desserts. From the Terrace Bar and Grill menu guests can try chorizo chicken with sautéed potato and balsamic syrup, spicy falafel burger with goat’s cheese and sweet chili mayo, or a prime sirloin steak from local farms. Lighter options include pear, walnut, roasted beetroot and goat’s cheese salad, pastrami roll with cheddar and mustard in toasted rye bread, or scallop and king prawn skewers with coriander and chili butter.

Desserts at The Terrace Bar and Grill include poached pear baked in filo pastry with vanilla ice cream, Eton mess, and chocolate jaffa mousse cake with mango sorbet. Surrounded by rustic stone walls and black oak beams, sample the range of cocktails, cask ales and world wines on offer.

Set in 350 acres of Devon countryside, The Terrace Bar and Grill Woodbury Park is a 13-minute drive from Exmouth town centre and train station.

Staff were very pleasant and helpful and the food was OK but nothing particularly special. I ordered a hamburger which according to the menu came with salad, all I got was a few small strips of cos lettuce cut by a knife. Didn't look good. Also no effort at all was made to sell the nights' specials, we didn't realise there were any until we got up to leave. As an ex chef/restaurateur I really felt the girl on the griddle should have tied her hair back, she had a very long fringe which hung over her face.

we had the bbq, was absolutely delicious. very impressed. Great choice of meat and lovely bread and salad. Our evening was topped off by the assistant manager I think her name was Anna. She was so lovely and very attentive.

Excellent food and service. I had fish dish of the day which was delicious. Even though there was a large function on which meant we couldn't eat in the conservatory it didn't spoil our meal. Everyone really enjoyed their meal, the waitress was a star, friendly and efficient. We will certainly return. Well done!

Staff very helpful and obliging. Restaurant make over lovely. Menu bit limited but fish and chips and ham and chips were good for what they were. Disappointment with the dessert, only three and no hot choice, so all had Eton Mess which was obviously made at least the day before as the merangue had dissolved into the cream and therefore no crunch at all and the cream was very close to turning, not smooth or fresh as it should be so dessert disappointed us all and rather spoilt an otherwise real treat.
