With log fires and a cosy atmosphere, The Stamford Bridge Chester is a perfect example of the fine British pub.

I booked a table here as it's one of the few places that advertise vegan food. When I got there I was told that option wasn't available. BUT then they had a word with the chef and he agreed to accommodate so I give them a big thank you.

We met family at the Stamford Bridge Inn, it was all so lovely ,from the welcome we got when arriving to the service, the attention to detail and most importantly the food. There was not a single scrap left on the plates, mums soup was Devine, we all had to have a taste of course !! It was so pleasant and we were not rushed at all which was nice as we had lots of catching up to do. It was well worth the travel and will definitely be back soon .

Gorgeous place with a lovely intimate atmosphere, we can't tell you how pleased we were with everything from the food, the service and the staff. Thank you for making our special night everything we could have asked for. Will definitely be coming again for our next date night.

I ordered chicken curry, which was ok, but the naan bread was burnt. The pudding was lovely - the rum and raisin panna cotta.
The coffee came with a mini shortbread which was nice but I would have preferred an after eight mint - better for the digestion after a heavy meal.

The chicken was wonderful. Service excellent

We have only wanted to come back as we always had the "pulled beef lasagne" which was taken off the menu and has recently been reinstated. However I do have to say that it was not up to the previous standard as it was lacking in sauce and a little too dry. The garlic bread has also changed as this used to be ciabatta bread which has been replaced with what can only be described as pizza base type bread not very appetising. If these things were rectified I would happily recommend to everyone as I have done before as this was by far one of the best meals we have ever tasted! Hope this helps.

Hi believe it or not we stopped going to the Stamford Bridge because you took the lasagne off the menu. We recently returned because it's back on! Only disappointment is that now it's back on the menu it's gone up by £3. Why?

    Sunday lunch was lovely
    Service was great
    Nothing to much trouble

Food was very good. The service was however not so good. We were not given menus, after waiting for sometime, we asked for them. There was a long wait before our starter came, but the main course arrived not long after we had finished our starter, so no problem there.
