As always the best staff ever, polite , courteous, professional, they are exceptional.
I do think the coffee and tea costs are over priced.

Bringing AA Rosette-awarded culinary excellence to a rustic, homely setting, The Stables at The Grove are set inside the Grove Hotel’s original stables block. With a cosy restaurant, courtyard with views over the tranquil golf course, and the Stables Bar, this is truly a versatile venue.

From succulent pizzas prepared in the traditional wood-fired oven, to warming winter pies, The Stables at The Grove menu is crammed full of tempting dishes. Rural recipes are given a gourmet makeover, such as steamed venison pudding with crisp shallot rings, or corn-fed chicken breast served with chestnut mousse. From the grill, succulent steaks sit alongside The Stables restaurant signature burger, served with Portobello mushrooms.

The tranquil courtyard at The Stables makes for a picturesque summer venue, while The Stables Bar next door boasts comfy leather couches and games of chess and backgammon to enjoy.

The Stables at The Grove Rickmansworth blends rustic traditional with contemporary culinary flair, with stunning views out across the countryside.

The food was extremely taste and filled you up. Portion sizes were good. It was busy but we never felt rushed. They did forget to offer us bread but we were so busy chatting had not noticed.

Pleased that we had a nice corner table having booked early. Nice welcome. Teenagers did not fancy any of the starters so went for mains and pud. Burgers good and pork delicious. Parsnips a little soggy! Loved banana tarte tatin. Apple crumble a bit watery.

Ours was a private meal for 4 as our company get together. Lovely meal and good service. Best thing was the service was quite relaxed which gave us time to talk, no rushing to get us out for the next sitting. Every course was fantastic but the Turkey Roast stood out for me-HUGE!
We have also had cream teas at the Grove which are also fantastic.

Good partitioning of the bar and restaurant, interesting and engaging menu selection - mixture of old favourites and new dishes to cater for you and old. Wine list was extensive - the Osaado did appear to be slightly on the turn, but I personally didn't return it - waiter Pasquale very attentive especially with my daughter and her drink choice - possible over doing it as felt helicoptering from other staff members - leave Pasquale to a table and he can then manage it would have been better. More than ample portions for mains and the correct balance for the starters and desserts.

The toilets with only one cubicle room for each seemed insufficient for the restaurant - realise that there is a larger one down the corridor - so depends on the emphasis of the service. The fact they were up one flight of stairs also wasn't ideal for my old parents.

Biggest issue is your acoustics - you need to place sound dampers in the ceilings - you could use stylised sound clouds in a bespoke form - would make the experience spot on - as noise levels were too high for our liking.
