    Top notch service, tho the wine steward did not know we were to receive free champagne until I corrected him.
    Beautiful presentation. Disappointing flavor.
    Used to be my favorite restaurant in all of London years ago.. There were only 5 tables filled. Now I know why.
    My husband received the regular menu, after 3 separate emails to the restaurant about being vegetarian. There was no problem receiving vege menu after correction.

    6 courses were all well prepared and presented. One course with was quite salty but was quickly exchanged for a different dish which was really refresh and lovely.

    Sublime food and impeccable service
    Both the starter of pigs head and main of halibut were exceptional dishes. The canapes to start were also a very nice touch and the service was faultless.
    The restaurant itself was housed in a somewhat unassuming building which looked like offices but once inside all was forgotten. The wine list was larger than most novels and had something for everyone although not cheap.

    Beautiful first class food, elegantly presented, and truly delicious! The service was of the finest quality, with the very helpful sommelier deserving special mention.. A delightful venue and totally recommended!

    At a special offer rate of £40.00 each for three courses and a glass of Champagne, this was excellent value. There was a choice between two options for each course, although disapointedly all three of us chose the tomatoes with artichoke; halibut in hibiscus tea; and bello orange dessert - all after a lovely selection of hors d'oeuvre and rounded off with petite fours and coffee. The food was beautifully presented and without fault. But ...

    We are regular restaurant diners and want an experience that delights, surprises, and makes us as the customer feel at the centre of the experience. What was lacking for us was the engagement of staff to make us feel welcome and of interest to the restaurant. Our son arrived first to be told that the restaurant doen't normally accept people in trainers (he was wearing fashionable Converse baseball boots), which was a disappointment for someone to feel unworthy of a two Michellin Star restaurant - everyone was attentive, well mannered and helpful, but reeling off the food descriptions seemingly by rote showed little passion for what we were receiving. Whilst we don't want to hold deep and meaningful conversations, it is always welcome for the restaurant staff to show interest in us, our reason for being there, our day so far, plans for later, etc - for there to be no dialogue gave an impression of disinterest. And there's the thing - we really enjoyed the food; the decor was smart and interesting; everyone was perfectly polite; but we were left feeling the restaurant was at the centre of the experience rather than us - All I would ask is for more warmth from those serving and for them to engage with customers more than recite a list of ingredients.

    In summary - I would highly recomend the restaurant food and applaud the obvious attention to detail, but would ask that humour and personality be allowed to shine and interest be shown to those paying the bill!
