Great food. Unfortunately there were two ( not unusual. ). very boisterous hen parties on the same evening which made any conversation virtually impossible for us. I would recommend asking whether groups would be dining on an evening that you wanted to book a meal at the restaurant. There is a small lounge area near the actual restaurant but that was being used for cocktail mixing classes. Not a venue for a romantic meal.

I came with a group of friends for my birthday on a Thursday night. We had booked in to do the cocktail master class with Head Bartender [@], who was alot of fun and happy to let a group of women take over his bar!In the restaurant my main was turbot, pork belly, pickled mussels and clams. Dessert was specially made and the best i'd ever had! A kind of hazelnut and chocolate masterpiece with peanut butter ice cream. Give 5 stars for quality of food and service. Special thanks to [@] for all her help!

We dined at 8pm on a Friday night. It was busy but straight away the service was spot on. I had the Quail to start which was fantastic and then the rabbit which suprisingly was even better. My partner had the Halibut which was perfectly cooked. A truely fantastic hidden gem. You must go! Fnatastic food and service

We happened upon this restaurant purely by searching on-line for somewhere to eat that we hadn't been before.. four of us went for dinner at 8.30pm and were surprised that we were the only diners there aside from one other couple.. odd, considering the location. Don't be put off by the website mentioning it's a private members club, as non-members can eat there too, as we did!Food absolutely gorgeous, lovely dining room, although it has rows of long tables, so on a busy night you could potentially be sat next to someone you don't know, but in our case this wasn't a problem as it was so quiet. Great value for money, lovely wine. The waitress we had wasn't particularly enthusiastic though, but perhaps she was having an 'off' night! All courses were beautifully presented and served with just the right amount of time between. Will definately be going back soon, and would recommend to anyone, couples or families alike. Very very nice.
