We all had the Sunday Roast and the beef was good, although not as pink as we would have liked and the roast potatoes were pale and not very crispy. Large portion and were unable to tackle any of the delicious looking puddings. The atmosphere was very pleasant and we had a very enjoyable lunch.

We visited the Southwark Tavern on friday evening so it was very busy. Most of the staff were serving so we had to find our reserved table by ourselves and go in search of someone to order our food. Three of us ate and gave the food mixed reviews - the fish and chips were excellent but the steak wasn't that great as it had gristle running through it.
