A 16th-century former house, The Sergison Arms in Haywards Heath has kept its homely feel but is a classic British country pub, serving an extensive menu of favourites. With a vintage interior design, featuring Chesterfield sofas, cute candles and chunky oak beams, you can enjoy the food from the warming hearth, or from the pretty beer garden.

Hearty Sunday roasts and trusty British dishes head The Sergison Arms menu, and a range just for kids offers mini versions of pub favourites. Signature Vintage pies offer fillings like beef & merlot with buttered peas, while The Sergison Arms ‘Vintage classics’ menu includes lemon & garlic-roasted chicken with seasoned chips.

Paying homage to the Great British pub, the Vintage Inn bar stock includes cask-conditioned beers, real ales and a meticulously compiled wine list. Thirst-quenching offerings include seasonal non-alcoholic cocktails and freshly-pressed juices, and rich coffee is brewed freshly throughout the day.

In Haywards Heath, The Sergison Arms is nestled in a remote part of the West Sussex countryside.

Came here for Sunday lunch. Lovely pub with nice food. Service was slow so don't go here if you're in a hurry!

Good waitress service but food left much to be desired this time. We eat here reasonably often but this time the food was dry and of a poor standard.

My wife and i had the Vintage tasting platter as a starer which we could not fault.. For the main course i chose the chicken and leek pie which again was lovely plenty of flavour and nice fresh vegetables, My wife had the fish and chips! triple-cooked chips no ! although they where very nice they were not triple cooked but im afraid to say the fish had been, the amount of fish in the over cooked beer batter was very very small which was a shame. We did mention this to the waitress who said she would pass this on to the kitchen. We have eaten there before and will do again and if we do choose fish and chips again will make sure the kitchen knows which should be triple cooked !!!!.

Whilst we have been to the Sergison Arms before, on arriving on Mothering sunday, the Resturatant was transformed. The Vase of Lillies as you walk in, then the settings on the table, down to the fresh roses in a small vase on each table was a very warm welcome.

Excellent food and service and the atmosphere was so relaxing and a very romantic setting for valentines day

Food was good, except the pie was dry, although tasty and the roast beef had gristle on each slice which could have been very easily removed before serving, I would not have served it like this. The chicken dish I had was very good. Both the roast and chicken came with good veg and gravy. Service was OK, but we were lent across when the drinks arrived without any apology. Overall I would return.

Good honest pub food at reasonable prices. The service was very good especially as the pub was very busy. Recommend the rib of beef. Nothing left on our plates.
