A friendly welcoming restaurant. The fish and chips was very good and a good selection of beers. Our waitress was very polite and helpful. The bar was very spacious and the toilets were immaculate.

Ate at Savannah with 2 friends and my daughter. We enjoyed cocktails in the bar first which were very reasonable. We had the 2 main courses and free dessert offer. The meal was OK overall - I had chicken terrine with chorizo starter which was delicious. Main course was duck which was overcooked with lukewarm sweet potato mash. I then had rhubarb trifle which had good flavours but a lump of hard cake in the middle. One of our party had to leave early so we negotiated to pay an extra £1.50 and had her dessert as cheese and shared it which was good as the portions were generally on the small side. We had excellent service from 2 of the waiters and, when the bill arrived, I asked if the £30 service charge went to them. I was told that half went to them and half to "charity" which I wasn't too happy about so I gave them £30 cash and knocked it off the bill. The manager made the waitress run after me and said he'd got the bill wrong as there was no service charge on the drinks and this meant I owed them £11 and the service was only £20. I did this and was on the train on the way home before I realised that it should have been impossible for the price of the meal to have actually gone up! unfortunately I must have left the bills there so couldn't see precisely what he'd done in the cold light of today. I wasn't happy about this and won't go there again

The food was delicious and the service was pretty good but we booked for the restaurant and had to eat in the bar due to taking a late large booking we were moved 3 times to different tables as another large group were booked in at the bar where we ended up was right in front of the bar we couldn't hear each other talk and we were constantly being knocked by people's bags and coats both in our faces or nearly knocking our glasses over we spoke to the manager about this and his comment was well you enjoyed the food didn't you we a a voucher for 2 people and we were paying for an extra one plus a bar bill he did knock 20% off the bill but his attitude was rather brash to say the least it has tainted our visit as it was a 're union and we couldn't really talk we left without dessert or coffees and more drinks as we couldn't hear each other and it was very draughty from the main door

Booked restaurant on spec as it was conveniently placed for our meeting with son and daughter in law. very pleasantly surprised. Quality food and service. We all had different dishes and all were given a large seal of approval.

Not the biggest wine selection - Rioja was fine.

Well recommended and will certainly make effort to go again. Possibly bit on expensive side but his is (centre of) London

ps. The pub opposite (Bree Louise) is another good reason to use the Savannah - if you can get in! Best pub in London with 20+ real ales, delicious pies and draught ciders. 15% discount for students and CAMRA members.

We arrived 30 minutes early but were welcomed warmly and shown to our table.
We were delighted to discover a meal deal which saved us a considerable sum.
The service was perfect , immediate attention when we needed it but left undisturbed otherwise.
Food and wine were very good.

Hidden gem, close to Euston & Kings Cross. Visited the bar eating area which was quite comfortable but the best elements were the food and the staff

Second time visiting the Savannah, lovely meal & service once again. Gorgeous meal for a great price & in a perfect location for the short walk back to Euston. Will be coming again next time I'm in London.

We were all very impressed. Each of the dishes were great, beautifully presented, reasonable prices. Good service as well. Dishes took a little while to come out but I expect that was because we were such a big group. All our dishes came out at the same time.
