Next to the world-famous Roman Baths and medieval Bath Abbey, The Roman Baths Kitchen is a Georgian townhouse that has been lovingly transformed into a contemporary restaurant. Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, the fresh and seasonal menu offers everything from small plates, to sharing platters and grill favourites.
With views over the neighbouring Bath Abbey, the characterful bistro-style restaurant celebrates the very best of West Country produce. Enjoy classics like beer-battered cod with triple-cooked chips, or slow-roast lamb shoulder with spinach and curried lentils. Elsewhere on the menu, discover the likes of confit duck leg with Lyonnaise potatoes, or hearty steaks and burgers from the grill.
From the bar comes a range of international wines and local beers. With wooden floors and artwork adorning the walls, the restaurant is at once rustic and refined, whilst the large terrace provides the ideal spot for al fresco eating and drinking in warmer weather.
At the heart of historic Bath, find The Roman Baths Kitchen a 6-minute walk from Bath Spa Rail Station.

Beautiful location-wonderful food

Food was just okay for the price. It was also misleading that we booked a torchlit tour and dinner, but it was still light outside. Service was good.

Pleasant atmosphere even though busy. Easily fixed dietry problem. Attentive staff. We had a fixed menu and choice was super rich choc brulee or super plain apple crumble (not tart) something in between would be good.

Good location. Welcoming service. Food good but unfortunately dessert which swayed our booking wasn't available due to popularity the previous day! With numerous restaurants in the area would probably try somewhere different if on a short stay. Might be more suitable for lunch whilst shopping/siteseeing.

Superb food . Restaurant was almost empty though so not such a great atmosphere. Shame for us as it's a lovely restaurant . Would definitely recommend on a busier night .

We are currently visiting Bath and dined here due to a friend's recommendation and so glad we took it up their recommendation. Lovely, spacious and beautifully designed restaurant. The waiting staff very friendly and lovely to talk to. One waitress even assisted with our dietary requirements with ease. The food was 10/10, very efficent service, beaitifully presented and absolutely delish!
