Next to the world-famous Roman Baths and medieval Bath Abbey, The Roman Baths Kitchen is a Georgian townhouse that has been lovingly transformed into a contemporary restaurant. Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, the fresh and seasonal menu offers everything from small plates, to sharing platters and grill favourites.
With views over the neighbouring Bath Abbey, the characterful bistro-style restaurant celebrates the very best of West Country produce. Enjoy classics like beer-battered cod with triple-cooked chips, or slow-roast lamb shoulder with spinach and curried lentils. Elsewhere on the menu, discover the likes of confit duck leg with Lyonnaise potatoes, or hearty steaks and burgers from the grill.
From the bar comes a range of international wines and local beers. With wooden floors and artwork adorning the walls, the restaurant is at once rustic and refined, whilst the large terrace provides the ideal spot for al fresco eating and drinking in warmer weather.
At the heart of historic Bath, find The Roman Baths Kitchen a 6-minute walk from Bath Spa Rail Station.

VERY DISAPPOINTED. We arrived at the same time as another couple on the next table, we asked 'what is todays soup?' and the waitress replied 'Tomato Soup' so three of us ordered the soup. Later she came and put down three soups and left. It was soon clear that the soup was NOT Tomato and when she passed by she said 'yes it is Butternut Squash because we have no Tomato left'. She never said a word when she delivered it. Damn cheek.
Overalk it soured the whole evening. The waitress was running around dropping cutlery and glasses. Very bed experience.

I booked a table for 3 and for lunch time, our table was situated by the rear entrance in what I would call the snack area, with the door right by us, this being repeatedly open and closed for the staff to deliver drinks and meals to customers seated in the outdoor area, the draught on us was certainly not acceptable.
I requested to be seated in another area, we were taken to the upper floor level which is what I would call a proper dining area, our food, drinks and service was excellent.

My girlfriend and I came to Bath late on the night of the tour and meal and didn't have time to collect our coupons from the tourist centre. However the staff were very accommodating and arranged that we could still have our meal and drop the tickets off in the morning.
We are both vegan/vegetarian so it was great to see these options on the menu. They were all absolutely delicious!!
100% I would recommend to my friends and family to eat here and do the tour of the baths.

As always we enjoyed our experience dining at a Searcy restaurant. They are consistently outstanding in quality, service, surroundings and can be relied upon to have interesting menu options. We turned up early and the front of house were accommodating and seated us early

The food was delicious but I wasn't impressed that we were seated upstairs in an old room rather than the restaurant on the ground floor which had a completely diffrerent ambience. Upstairs was old fashioned and not particularly warm. You felt as though they were busy and trying to get as many in as possible.

The food was excellent and service was good. The ticket for the baths and meal was very good value. Would recommend it to others. Where we sat was cold though and more thought into seating arrangements in Winter would be good.
