Boasting stunning Harbourside views, The River Grille is known for its ever-changing seasonal menus, packed full of local ingredients and exciting flavours.

The River Grille menu is packed with local ingredients like lamb and pork belly from Nailsea, sustainably sourced fish from Brixham, and the West Country’s Cornish Blue, Yarg and Westcomb Cheddar that pack a serious punch on the cheese platter. Seasonal dishes see warming root vegetables sit alongside the likes of cod, butterbean and chorizo stews and hazelnut soufflé for dessert.

The light and airy dining area has striking light features and mahogany furniture, with large windows that allow diners to look out over the water. The River Grille Bar is complete with a glossy finish and quirky white grand piano.

At the Centre of the city, the River Grille Restaurant is a 10 minute walk from Bristol Temple Meads station and right on the Narrow Quay Harbourside.

Overall, a lovely meal with the family just tarnished by the fact that the starters arrived minus one soup and we were told it was coming! But couldn't help to notice that the table behind us who arrived later received all their starters at the same time including several soups which was probably one of ours. We waited 5 mins for the missing soup to arrive. Such a shame while our starters were getting cold!

An excellent meal all of us really enjoyed it. Saturday eve supposed to have live Jazz but only a pianist playing so not sure about what happened there?

Great experience, only downfall was the staffs memory when asking them for additional drinks.

We had the pre-theatre menu. The food and service were excellent and the price was very reasonable. The complimentary extras were a lovely touch. The restaurant itself is slightly 'crowded' as the tables are a little close together. I was slightly disappointed that no one offered to take my coat but that was a very minor issue. The free car parking offer for the duration of the concert we were attending was a great additional feature. The Piano player was good too.

The Tea, champagne and scones were lovely .
Personally would have preferred more finger sandwiches then cakes but everything still tasted good . The atmosphere was great , nice and relaxing and the pianist was soothing.

We really enjoyed our meal last night; all three courses were excellent, and the service was attentive and friendly. We were eating before a concert, and sometimes that can be anxiety provoking, but the service was so quick we felt relaxed. The location is wonderful, with great views of the harbourside.

I booked afternoon tea using a 25% off via an email from River Grille. Welcoming staff, table was already set up for us. Choice of teas was offered. Very friendly and chatty waiting staff. This is my third tea at the river Grille and it was the same standard as before. Could you offer a choice of sandwiches? We were trading egg for cucumber, everyone wanted the ham!

Lovely meal for my husbands 50th .We went for Sunday lunch, very calming atmosphere, lovely staff and very pleasant chef. Will be going again.Only one tiny criticism ,more variety of deserts would have been nice maybe a hot pudding along with the cold pudding would give more choice. But all in all, value for money and very very nice.would recommend.....thank you river grille .
