Our evening dinning at The Ritz Restaurant for us can only be described as a beautiful experience, from the moment the doorman opened our taxi door to the reception team, right through to the restaurant team it was fabulous, we loved the way the hotel has retained all original features, the food was excellent, the professional waiters where so very welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable.

First class as soon as we walked in the door. Service by the staff very professional, helpul and friendly. They made you feel that you were the only person in the Restuarant. Needless to say the food was excellent and well presented.

Excellent attentive service; lovely quartet playing; outstanding dishes. Perhaps their starter and main dishes could be slightly larger?

When you go to the Ritz you have expectations, and you would be hard pushed not to tick all your boxes. The attention that you receive from the moment that you walk in the door, to the moment that you leave is superb. Nothing is too much trouble for all of the staff, and they are always on hand to give advice or assist. We went for lunch, and we have been to other top restaurants in London, but for pure opulence, look no further. The food is inventive and tasty, and done in a different way to other restaurants. We had Dover Sole. It was succulent, and exceeded our expectations. There was no sense them of trying to move you on, as in some other establishments. All in all, a wonderful experience.

As it was my first time at the ritz I was a bit nervous about just going into the place but when we got their and actually went in through the hotel it was grand beyond belief and the staff were very warming and welcoming.

When we got to the restaurant it was amazing from start to finish, probably the best meal I have ever eaten in London.firstly we were greeted by different types of breads, then a a mouse Boucher of goujers, seaweed and lobster and a macaroon with citrus butter. For starters I had the quail to start which was delicious, clever use of the leg and the accompanying garnish balanced the dish well. Then I had the guinea fowl which was again cooked perfectly and the sauce supreme that was poured table side really heightened the would dish.for dessert I had the chocolate delice which was lightest delice I have ever seen and eaten, the coconut ice cream was delicious.

Overall however it was just a really really great experience and I am Deffinately planning on returning later in the year

An impression of an Edwardian era, from the decor to the cuisine. Dinner was delicious, perfect portions and most charming service, friendly, knowledgeable without any question of obsequiousness. This is a wonderful establishment and institution. We had a marvellous evening.
