It was exactly what we wanted - (cocktail too sweet but we indulged in others), the food was delicious, the service excellent and ambiance perfect!

Fantastic venue, brilliant service and tasty food! Really great value for money, and was the perfect treat!

Food was good. The cocktail was a bit bland - the G&T we bought at the bar was much better. One gripe - the music in the bar was far too loud even in the restaurant, which did not make for a convivial experience.

The starters and desserts were great. Overall the set menu was good value for money, however, the main courses were disappointing. We were a party of 10 and I with a few others had the beef which wasn't cooked how we ordered (I asked for medium rare and got well done) and the cut was full of gristle.

Service a little on the slow side; we had to ask to have three dirty glasses removed

Very, very poor. Table wasn't ready. Dessert took forever and way, way too expensive for the terrible food we were served.

Lovely lunch and ambiance. We booked lunch for 1.30pm on a Saturday and were surprised how quiet it was at the start. But over the next few hours if certainly got busy and lively though not to the extent it took away from the experience or service. The staff were very accomodating and friendly. The menu on thus deal was limited but that didn't matter - our choices were still very tasty Abd lovingly presented.

Friendly an professional staff. Hotel over designed and with rather cliched designer touches. Theatrical curtains in the toilets are a no no. Restaurant fairly empty and lacking atmosphere - empty and unused open kitchen. Starters were good as was pudding. Main course - rump steak - was a disappointment. Tough, served cold, 1970s presentation of Portobello mushroom and cooked tomato. Roasted vegetables were cut too small, greasy and soggy rather than crisp.

The lunch was very disappointing. First and last time i will use one of these offers. The lunch was rushed, the food was luke warm and the cocktail was sent back as it was warm too. When we asked for some water, a small glass of warm water was bought to the table after a short delay. No sign of any ice or lemon. Very disappointing in what was a very special celebration for myself and friend.
