Really good service and attentive to our children who enjoyed it as much as we did. Nice variety on the menu, always a bonus to have Padron peppers!

The restaurant is not sign-posted from the entrance, so some wandering at first. Then absolutely no-one in the restaurant - and no staff member available. Returned to reception. No-one at reception. Waited a minute - caught someone at reception - who helpfully explained how to get back to the restaurant we'd just come from, and then phoned for a member of staff, who joined us at the restaurant after a minute or two. The hotel decor, food and staff were all lovely, but it felt a little awkward for a business meal. We then ate as just the three of us in the entire restaurant - which meant we could talk about anything as loudly as we wanted, but meant the place had little ambiance. The lunchtime menu is particularly limited compared the dinner menu for such a luxurious hotel - no starters available, sandwiches promoted on the menu, and only about 7 different main courses. A lovely place, but left feeling like the establishment didn't value lunch guests.

Excellent, but main course serving is too large

Staff were very attentive and helpful. Food was good quality although a little pricey compared to the equivalent dishes in local restaurants.

The food was really gorgeous, especially loved the chef's table starter as there was so much choice of tasty salads.

Met friends for lunch today; we have met here before for Sunday lunch which is usually very good but not so today. No a la carte menu, just bar food where a cheese and pickle sandwich costs £7.95 so I was expecting something fairly good. Average sliced white bread which was dry (I wondered if it was gluten free), minimal amount of cheese and some crisps which were soft. We might go back for Sunday lunch again but won't be going there during the week ever again. Very disappointing.
