Food was good, homemade and freshly cooked. The view from the terrace was excellent. However, the service was no more than adequate. I have eaten here before and found this apsect better. The gap between our starters and main course was far too long. Nobody checked on us to see if we were waiting and it took two attempts at chasing for us to get the right level of attention. I would continue to recommend the venue owing to the food and its situation, but I would caution people to keep an eye on the service - I've experienced good and now not so good.

This was a 'surprise' birthday lunch for a friend. I had already visited the restaurant on a previous occasion and was impressed with the location, views, service and food. My friend was VERY impressed with all of the above and we will certainly visit again and recommend it to other friends.

It should be perfect as the location is superb but theres something not quite right. The food is on the expensive side but not quite up to the standard expected. Theres nothing wrong with the food but it doesn't have the wow factor. We dined with friends. It was busy when we arrived and we weren't greeted immediately instead standing awkwardly for a couple of minutes before someone came over and took us to our table. The menu is fairly limited made worse by the fact that one of the dishes we wanted was off. This shouldn't happen on a Saturday night at 8pm. our waiter was a bit of a cliche man giving the impression he said the same things to every table every night which became mildly annoying as the evening wore on. This is our second visit and probably our last. Shame as it is a cracking location but not quite achieving their potential.
