We visit the restaurant frequently. The food is excellent. The ambience and surroundings are very pleasant.. The staff are very polite, but sometimes, the service is a little slow (hence only three stars). However, definitely our favourite restaurant in our area.

The Red Barn is one of our favourite pub restaurants. The staff are always very welcoming and the restaurant is most attractive. The service is extremely attentive although, at times, a little slow. However, this is not off putting as their willingness to make any alterations to the menu to suit your requirements is excellent. With ample parking and easy access this venue is a must for any occasion.

The worst dining experience I have ever had. My main meal of Calves Liver contained RAW slices of liver,my replacement meal came after my husband had finished his, the service was appalling, waited 20 minutes for a dessert menu which never arrived so we left and will not return there again.

Very nice country old fashioned pub with comfy settees and chairs. Restaurant was packed.
We arrived early had a drink at the bar, then went in on time at 20:00 hrs
Ordered a bottle of wine and it arrived within 5 mins, ordered starter and main.
Starter arrived within 20 mins, main arrived within 1 hour.
All food rather expensive, the soup stater was £5.50, the steak was £15.50 , and the bottle of Savignon Blanc was
overpriced at £26.50, You can get this in a supermarket for a fiver.......
The bill came to £101 for 2 people, no deserts.....good job I suppose but we were full so couldn't wedge any puddings in.
There was a 10% service charge. so don't tip the waiters
Overall.......the food was nice and well presented, the staff were nice, the food and drink overpriced

I suggest you buy some wine in an off licence smuggle it in your bag and drink it.....save you £20

I don't believe in service charges. in case you don't agree that service was adequate.

So Red Barn. reduce your prices especially the wine....take off service charge and let us tip

I dined with my my partner and my 88 year old mother yesterday. The Barn is the most beautiful building I can remember and is full of character. The staff were very attentive and the food was exactly as expected and very well presented. I am having my Christmas Day lunch here and I am counting down the days.

Stunning barn dining area, high quality service and high quality food - we will dine there again, however next time we will take a taxi so we can enjoy the wine list and enjoy a relaxed Sunday lunch in relaxing surroundings.

Over an hour to get the starters. Very mean with the scallops but the food good.

We dined at 6pm on a Saturday night and we booked online. I really like the ambience and character of the restuarant. The food was 'okay' and very overpriced. The house wine was terrible! Service was not bad but we did have to keep asking for things and one of our waiters was 'huffing and puffing' a bit (we had three waiters during the meal?!). I would not rush to return for an evening meal, however I have been for lunch and have had a much nicer experience overall.
