Housed within Europe’s largest shopping centre and overlooking the magnificent Olympic Stadium, The Real Greek Westfield Stratford City offers a lively taverna-style eatery. A sought after seat on the covered terrace makes for tranquil al fresco dining.

Showcasing robust flavours, The Real Greek menu presents an array of wholesome specialities. Ideal for sharing, tasty mezes sit alongside souvlaki served straight from the grill. Favourites from the wide selection include juicy tiger prawns with chilli and garlic butter, or handmade British lamb patties with tahini sauce.

Extending tradition to the dessert menu, The Real Greek restaurant offers a tantalisingly sweet selection, from Greek lemon cake drizzled with honey-infused syrup, to homemade baklava. Family-friendly The Real Greek London offers a fun meze and skewer selection, just for kids.

Blending rustic charm and urban chic, The Real Greek Westfield Stratford City showcases marble tabletops and warm polished wood. Westfield sits next to Stratford Rail and Tube Stations.

We came in on a Tuesday night, however the restaurant was not quiet given its location. The girl who seated nice does not know what a smile is and on the top of that we had to rush after her for the table. Our server, Michail, on the other hand, was friendly and very helpful in terms of the food choice (we found the menu a bit confusing). The food was very good as well as the Greek wine we opted for on the day. We were not rushed at all and given plenty of time to finish the meal. Nobody came three or four times to check on food as it happens in some other restaurants and which is annoying sometimes. Overall, food and service is what gives the highest mark to the restaurant. We'll be coming back.
