Step into an exotic jungle at The Rainforest Café restaurant. London’s largest family restaurant serves a huge selection of world cuisine, with a separate kids menu. Stunning rainforest décor includes trees everywhere, fish tanks, and a soundtrack of birdsong and waterfalls.
The Rainforest Café menu is as exciting as the tropical surroundings. Spicy light bites like lava nachos, chicken enchiladas and calamari rings marinated in fresh chilli are served for starters. International cuisine highlights continue on the main menu, including Indonesian-style chicken & glass noodle salad, steak burgers and grilled salmon.
A dedicated kids menu and rich desserts are also served at The Rainforest Café London. Wines, cocktails, fresh juices and smoothies as well as coffees and teas offer refreshment for any meal or group.
Kids and adults alike will be captivated by The Rainforest Café restaurant at Picadilly Circus. It is less than a 1-minute walk from Picadilly Circus Tube Station.
Please contact The Rainforest Cafe in advance to arrange any accessibility requirements, as for safety reasons, no more than 2 wheelchair users are accepted into the building at one time. Wheelchair users will be assisted by a member of The Rainforest Cafe’s team to London Trocadero’s wheelchair access area, which involves leaving the building and is 2 minutes away. We have visited on a number of times over the years and each time the food & service are excellent.
One point though - we sat downstairs this time which to be honest was abit of a shame as you don't get the full experience, which is kinda why you eat there!
And what made it worse was the fact I'd book and walk-ins where seated in the main dining area.
Sorry I know not everyone can sit in the main area but I think you should give priorty to those that have booked. Gonna take a star off for this reason

Very accommodating staff who tried to calm my moany toddler. They gave him a goodie bag and each time they checked in with us spoke to him. They also made a fuss as we were celebrating his second birthday and sung him happy birthday.

The food was excellent, the soup of the day was delicious and the pasta very well cooked. The children's menu was also very good.

Great restaurant to visit, especially with kids. Fantastic decoration, great service and lovely food. Highly recommended

Most expensive burger and chips I've ever ordered. But the theme was good and the kids enjoyed it.

Lovely place, friendly staff, good food.
However I do not like the fact that you add a service charge onto the bill, which isn't mentioned when the bill is handed to you. I always leave a tip for my waiter/waitress but it is up to me to decide if and how much I give not you. Which is why I'm giving you 4 stars not 5.

It was great thank you. Our waiter made a real fuss of our 4 year old whose birthday we were celebrating and he is already asking when we can go back. Thank you

The food and service was wonderful but quite expensive, the whole rainforest atmosphere and theme came out fun and unique, however, there was a very cold draft from where we were sat and we noticed other tables complaining about it, being told there was nothing they could do, unfortunately this made us want to leave sooner rather than relax for a while.

Terrible customer service. Staff rushing us to choose meal, didn't offer us the extra's on the kids menus (sides and activity pack), we had to ask for these. Our servers (we had two) were generally fairly grumpy and didn't really want us there! Not ideal when your paying £117 and £13 of that being an automatically added gratitude charge, which the staff did NOT deserve.
All meals where nice, one salad very expensive when only 5 prawns on, not worth the money.
The children enjoyed the surroundings.
