Trading since 1740, The Quorndon Fox in Quorn is a grand, attractive country pub with a fantastic location in the picturesque village. It boasts an accomplished menu of British favourites with beautiful gardens and seating. Interiorly, ornate mirrors, a welcoming hearth and log-piles define The Quorndon Fox’s rustic character.

Hearty Sunday roasts and trusty British dishes head The Quorndon Fox menu, and a range just for kids offers mini versions of pub favourites. Signature Vintage pies offer fillings like beef & merlot with buttered peas, while The Quorndon Fox ‘Vintage classics’ menu includes lemon & garlic-roasted chicken with seasoned chips.

Paying homage to the Great British pub, the Vintage Inn bar stock includes cask-conditioned beers, real ales and a meticulously compiled wine list. Thirst-quenching offerings include seasonal non-alcoholic cocktails and freshly-pressed juices, and rich coffee is brewed freshly throughout the day.

Deep in Leicestershire, The Quordon Fox is quiet and peaceful in the small village of Quorn.

Food was well cooked and beautifully presented, services was just at the right pitch, unobtrusive but there if required.
Menu choice for mains was a little limited I felt, but a good specials selection was presented.
Have been coming to this restaurant/pub for 20 years, through many incarnations, and although it is now part of a chain, it has a good ambience and the character of the historic building has been well preserved. Can't fault it actually, good decor, comfortable dining experience, not overcrowded, choice of seating types and location.

The main course was not to the usual standard. The roast beef was so tough I couldn’t even slice it. The lamb slice was so tiny it was literally one mouthful. However when I complained the staff were so helpful & apologetic & brought roast turkey as a substitute. The roast turkey was very nice. Portion sizes were on the small side (meat portions). Cauliflower cheese was almost raw & the boiled veg were boring to say the least. Pudding was a good sized portion & was delicious. Great service, they really looked after us well, let down by the food. However having said all that this is the first below par meal I have ever had there & usually the food is of a very high standard.

Had the quinoa bean salad - not very exciting.
Had a 'free sweet' voucher but wasn't allowed to use it because I was having 20% off anyway, so it was a waste of time emailing that to me!

As usual the food was of excellent quality. The service was attentive and timely. The atmosphere is really relaxing, friendly and comfortable. We did swap a chair as it was wobbly and my son was concerned it felt unsafe. ( It was a high backed black and white material covered chair). The goat cheese and butternut squash pie was to die for. My husband was very impressed with the quality and tenderness of the ham hock. Fab.
