One of London's select few Michelin-starred south Indian restaurants, The Quilon Restaurant presents refined south west coastal Indian cuisine, displaying an intense passion for fresh and exotic seafood, meat and vegetarian specialities.

Characterised by a colonial-style air of timeless elegance, Quilon Restaurant London prides itself on creating experimental Indian dishes. Fine speciality beers complement the fine dishes, and the exceptional wine list has been prized with Wine Spectator's prestigious annual Award of Excellence, every year since 2009.

The Quilon menu features creations like seared fillet of monkfish with juicy scallops and a delicate mustard sauce, slow cooked pistachio lamb or marinated tilapia roasted in banana leaf. Sweet decadences at Quilon near Westminster include lentil cappuccino with cardamom shortbread or spiced dark chocolate and hazelnut mousse.

Enticing cocktails are showcased at Quilon, including the tamarind margarita and mango bellini or the non-alcoholic apple mojito. St James's Tube Station is a 5-minute walk from Quilon London.

This is absolute one of the best experience we have made. Food and service was outstanding.

Our hotel told us to try this restaurant and we are very pleased. We got us a one of our best dinners ever! The Lam-shank was excellent as well as the Coconut dessert.
If you are in London and want to try something very good this is the place to go!

We have eaten at Quilons restaurant about six times and it remains our favourite for a special occasion. Southern Indian food is so different to the High Street Indian Restaurants we are used to. The quality of food and attentive service lives up to it's Michelin Star rating. I cannot wait for our next visit.

Booked the set lunch for 4 for 2pm on Mother's Day at £24 per head including tea/coffee. Great food, great value, lovely overall experience. Lots of staff and very attentive but did not rush us - a relaxing couple of hours. We chose our own dishes for starter and main course but the chef can do this for you if you want. The restaurant and staff encourage sharing so we ordered different dishes and tried each others. Some of the dishes are quite spicy but not mindblowing - you can ask for this to be tempered. Starters preceeded by great mini poppadoms and pickles. Warm spicy tomato soup served in a glass between courses as an amouse bouche. Dessert choices for the set menu a bit limited - the al a carte ones looked much more interesting. Expensive if you go al a carte or want to order drinks but the set lunch is great value.
