Great evening . All 6 of us enjoyed our meals. Comfortable surroundings. Polite , friendly and helpful staff. Fish and Chips a winner. Burger a popular choice too.

Serving classic British cuisine, the Queen Elizabeth is a quintessential village pub in a Grade II-listed building built in the 16th-century. The food is hearty and traditional, focusing on locally sourced ingredients.

Home-cooked classic on the menu include crispy cod in local ale batter, trio of local sausages with creamy mash and onion gravy, and cider and honey-glazed gammon ham. Meat, seafood and vegetarian deli boards are enticing options, as are the meaty burgers served with melted cheese and a choice of sauces. Homemade desserts include Bailey’s cheesecake and toffee, date and walnut pudding.

Inside, open fires and rustic décor create a cosy bar area, whilst the large beer garden is a tranquil summer spot. The Queen Elizabeth in Elmsley Castle also boasts separate dining rooms and lounge areas for elegant dining and relaxed drinking.

A village pub serving a host of real ales, The Queen Elizabeth near Evesham is a 15-minute drive from Evesham Train Station.

Love the relaxed atmosphere in the restaurant, easy to talk with friends as no loud music.
2 of us pies, which were very much enjoyed and the mash!
2 of us had the rump steaks, we both enjoyed.
As I am gluten intolerant I asked for the chocolate cheesecake but they had none, but very kindly made me a lovely mango and panacotta dessert which was very nice.

We arrived early so happily sat in the bar drinking until our table was ready. We love the atmosphere of the whole building, our favourite dishes have to be the steaks, especially the tuesday steak night.

Visited for a Sunday lunch. Nice set menu for the day with good options. Service good and friendly towards our children. Very good standard of food and served promptly once order taken.
Food was very good. Would recommend eating here. Small car park at rear but seemed to be plenty of parking available out front of pub and down street from the pub.
