I have always enjoyed going to the Pump Room for a meal with family or friends on several visits to Bath over the last 20 years. The food & service have always been excellent & it is such a welcoming & friendly place, rather special. I and my guests always enjoy the music being performed, which again makes it especially enjoyable. The choice of fixed or a la carte menu was appreciated

Excellent food and service, and of course the location is unique! However our enjoyment was slightly marred by the fact that the music was over amplified. The pianist was very good, but at times we could hardly hear ourselves speak.

Beautiful historical location. Great service and food. Enhanced by the live music. Downside was a lady breast feeding with no decorum right in the middle of the restaurant. Not everyone is comfortable with this when dining in public. A

We had a lovely meal and excelent company as Jools xame over to talk to us. Such a pleasure.

Had afternoon tea. The food and service were excellent. The only bad comment I would make is that the experience was spoilt a little by being stared at and photographed continuously by visitors who were not customers of the restaurant.

We enjoyed the lunch at The Pump Rooms. It was a special occasion so wanted something a little different. The food was excellent. We felt the toilets were in need of attention especially as they had supposed to have been cleaned 30 minutes before we used them. Such a shame as this spoilt the overall experience.

Very nice. Although very noisy room and difficult to chat to those on our table.

I had the afternoon tea with champagne. The selections for the afternoon tea set menu were delicious. The restaurant is beautiful and the string trio were excellent and made the atmosphere even better. I would definitely return if I visit Bath again.
