Synonymous with luxury and grandeur, The Dorchester hotel on Park Lane presents elegant British brasserie cuisine at The Promenade. The dining room features lavish interior design from Thierry Despont, and an oval leather-clad bar.

A polished, tranquil retreat in which to enjoy the hotel’s legendary afternoon teas, The Promenade in London showcases 25 different tea blends, alongside its impeccable range of sweet and savoury treats. As well as cakes from the in-house bakery, enjoy the signature Dorchester scones- made to a recipe unchanged for 50 years.

An all-day menu at The Promenade is filled with refined Dorchester classics, as well as extravagantly-topped pizzas, and delicious meats from the grill. For an indulgent start to the day, The Promenade in Mayfair also offers an exciting international range for breakfast.

Set on one of London’s most famous streets, The Promenade on Park Lane is just 6 minutes’ walk from Hyde Park Corner Tube Station. Please note, all guests are respectfully asked to observe The Dorchester’s ‘smart casual’ dress code, by refraining from wearing baseball or beanie caps, ripped jeans, sportswear (including flip-flops) and shorts while visiting the restaurants and bars.

To be honest it was the worst tea I have ever had. The sandwiches had no cress, plates no decoration, all rather boring. And the service was DIRE. Our waiter seemed not to have a clue, and the people on the next table said the same.... Would not come back!!

This was the most impressive breath taking experience I have ever had. The staff were so friendly and welcoming, the smell of the fresh flowers was absolutely stunning and the food outstanding. I would definitely return faultless.

We had a very enjoyable afternoon in the Dorchester hotel, the sandwiches were superb esp the salmon which absolutely amazing. The Dorchester blend tea and the Langson su chee (incorrect spelling I sure) which We had was lovely and complimented the food very well and the scones were simply out of this world, we had eaten so much we asked if we could take the cakes home to enjoy and this was no problem at all.
The staff were all extremely attentive and efficient and nothing was a problem to get for us,
The toilets were extremely well cleaned this definatly added the simple the most amazing experience I've ever had in London.

Fantastic surroundings, amazing food (afternoon tea) fantastic servers, who even went the extra mile when they discovered it was for a birthday and brought out a cake and sang! Lovely experience from start to finish,

Our server left mid-afternoon tea and didn't tell us he was leaving. This wouldn't have been a problem other than we waited almost an hour and finally got our scones and pastries, but only after we had to specifically ask for them. We were a bit annoyed that the service was so poor. We have attended afternoon teas at a number of other locations in London and this experience was by far the worst.
