Blending gourmet European cuisine and the heartiest of pub welcomes, The Princess of Wales in Clapton is a failsafe local favourite. Pizzas are freshly fired in the garden’s wood burning oven, and pasta is freshly-rolled in house.

Gastro pub classics and Mediterranean-inspired flavours dominate The Princess of Wales menu, with favourites including daily-changing fresh pasta dish, seared chicken with sage butter and pancetta, or grilled venison burger with triple-cooked chips. Signature stone-baked flat bread pizzas are made to order, and piled high with delicious fresh toppings.

Crowds are drawn in on Sundays for the Sunday roast at The Princess of Wales in Hackney. One of the most accomplished bar stocks in the area compiles fine wines and an extensive list of draught and bottled beers.

Perfectly slotting into this trendy area of East London, guests can enjoy The Princess of Wales’ secluded garden during summer. Clapton Rail Station is a 5-minute walk away.
