Opposite picturesque Battersea Park, The Prince Albert offers hearty British dining, guest ales and a contemporary outdoor terrace. Endearingly mismatched furnishings scatter the spacious, naturally-lit bar, from vibrant fireside seating to talking-point wall hangings and eclectic objet d’art.

Classic pub lunches on the Prince Albert menu include burgers, sausage and mash and mushroom and spinach pie. Home cured salmon, mussels with cider and chunky BLT sandwiches are among other favourites.

Among more homegrown classics, The Prince Albert serves 28-day aged steaks and Devonshire lamb chops. English strawberries with clotted cream, tiramisu and honeycomb parfait make tempting desserts, while on Sundays it’s all about the traditional roasts.

An expertly chosen wine list has a broad selection of southern hemisphere vintages alongside classic Europeans. With the beautiful 200-acre park just across the road, The Prince Albert in London is a 5-minute drive from Battersea Park Train Station.

The Prince Albert Battersea also offers private dining options for a range of occasions, with various menus and facilities to choose from. The private room can hold up to 80 for a standing event and 45 for a seated event. With gorgeous views of the park and a private bar and bathrooms, The Bridge Room is available to hire for both lunch and dinner sessions.

It's a nice place to sit on a rainy day, but the food was incredibly overpriced that it really left us feeling ripped off. 4 pounds for a "side salad" which was literally a handful of leaves, 2 tomatoes, and a sliver of onion. I understand that you need to make money, however, when you charge so much and under deliver it really leaves clients feeling like they've been had. I was disappointed.

Good manager, very friendly staff and good service considering the busy time of year (Xmas).

    The service was very good.
The food was good but certainly not for the price being charged which I think is something that really needs to be looked at again as there weren't many other people eating. Maybe if it was more affordable more people would be there for dinner.
Food did come out quick though.
    And the location is great!

Always a good place, friendly staff, good gastro pub food. Usually very busy at weekends so book ahead online. Can be quite lively when everybody is inside Right next to the park so a post lunch stroll is almost like being in the country!

Dinner Saturday night. Really pretty good, unpretentious pub food. Vibrant atmosphere. Service a bit patchy at first - took a while for anyone to show us to our table and to take a drinks order but then improved until we were told without warning: no puddings - kitchen closed (but they did manage to rustle up a limited selection). But apart from that, a very enjoyable meal.Great position by the Albert Bridge which looks amazing at night. A really good local. I recommend it.
