    The service and food was excellent. Indeed, the whole evening was very easy with good wine and just a lovely atmosphere.A very nice way to spend an early evening out.

    The meal was delicious. I cannot praise it high enough. If it was what I ordered. I had no idea. The room is so dark I might have been eating the menu, for all I could see of it. I could also not read the wine bottle in the gloom.

    everything was great. ordered the porterhouse....any good steak should be prepared and presented without any further need for added garnishing..in this case it was rather bland . besides that all were great

    Visited once before and loved it. This time however wasn't as good. We was seated promptly and our order was taken quickly..so far so good. Our staters arrived in reasonable time and were tasted great, however no one came Over to check. Our mains arrived soon after we finished our starters there was some delay in the sides coming out. Everything tasted great however it was all cold. If someone had come to check I would have told them but after finishing the waitress cleared the table and asked was all ok but by this point it was too late. Everything was tastey the service was a bit of a let down and the fact our meals were cold.

    Overall nice but nothing special!
    Gin bar varied but I've had better and larger...quite expensive!

    Rabbit dish was poor. Really bland dish. Hopefully it was just mine. I was gutted. Otherwise very good restaurant but not worthy of the prices on the evening I went.

    Hi, I have visited the potted pig before and have even had my best meal ever there..so it was the perfect location for my bday celebrations on sat evening. I recommended it to my friends whom had never been. Some of us were very disappointed with the food and I don't think my friends will rush back which is a real shame. At nearly £40 per person, it was not good value at all. In particular, the mullet starter was tiny and lacked flavour, two of us had the pan fried hake as a main which was served on top of a tasteless soup. The dessert were also tiny portions and not very special at all. I have never left negative feedback in the past on anything but wanted you to know the first impression that was made on sat night. On the plus, the pork, the service and the gin were great but even I (a hardened fan) would think twice about returning. Good luck.
