I have no words to describe how I DISLIKED this place. I went with my dad who came to Italy because we would have liked to have a nice Italian dinner in the centre. We had had a look at the website and menu online and thought it looked a nice restaurants. We could have not been more wrong than that. Food was terrible. I had a cordonbleau shaped like an enormous ball and heavy like hell. My dad had ravioli with bolognese sauce which were overcooked. The house wine was impossible to drink. We asked for desserts and they were cold, heavy and obviously not home-made. For what concerns the staff, they were not nice at all, kept asking questions about the order which they could not remember, but the most annoying thing is that the restaurant was almost empty so they (3 waiters) spent the evening standing next to our table and WATCHING US EATING, which I think is the most distressing thing that a waiter can do to a client. Overall it was also quite pricy and definitely not worth it. I do NOT recommend this place to anyone - save your money and eat home, I am sure the food will be higher quality..

We ate after the cinema, so were not in a hurry and didn't want to be hurried. Service was well timed and attentive. The liver and the chicken were tender and tasty. Spinach and mushrooms not overcooked but sauted potatoes a bit soggy. House wine very good. The rather old-fashioned traditional Italian decor was a welcome change from all the Italian chain uniformity. Would return.
