Amazing meal and service, thank you! We had the prawns, followed by steak for me (caramelised to perfection) and lamb for my husband all of which were delicious!

Great find in Wallingford. Met friends here pre theatre. The spicy soup was the best soup I've had in a long time and my haloumi superfood salad was delicious. All 4 of us enjoyed our dishes thoroughly. Service was excellent. The only downsides were a lack of ambiance because we were the only guests for much of our time there - though it was early evening. And we did struggle with their range of soft drinks. But we'd definitely go back and recommend it.

Really loved the whole experience. Excellent ambiance, food and service. A team that are really passionate about the food they cook and how it's presented and delivered.
Will go back very soon, highly recommended .

I booked dinner for 8 people for an after sales conference get together. We all enjoyed the atmosphere and the food was excellent, and locally sourced, although a little slow in arriving after placing our order, however the chef did come out and advise us that it would be another 5 minutes, which was really nice. As this was a business supper, I would definitely book again.

This was a truly excellent experience. We visited whilst on a Thames Barge holiday and were concerned to find a good quality restaurant with animal welfare and organic integrity and the charming young owner Mathew ,went to great lengths to inform us of where he sourced his produce and re assure us of his commitments to this. There were four of us and we all thoroughly enjoyed our meals. The food was light, sophisticated and very tasty. The service too was excellent and the waitress was charming.I cannot recommend this Restaurant highly enough and if we are ever that way again we will definitely return, though be aware that it is not cheap.

We selected food from the pre-theatre menu which was excellent and extremely good value. Service was good and the chef even came to ask us if we were enjoying our dinner - a nice touch.

roast beef was delicious, but far too many (8) varieties of veg on the plate. I'd rather have a selection of three or four to choose from at the table.
Also disappointing not to be able to have the bread selection with our aperitif.
Service friendly but a bit slow for us.

Nice old building in pleasant market town .Courteous and informed service . Good choice on pre theatre menu. Decent wine by carafe with more but expensive bootle options. Have also dined al fresco with young children, equally well catered for.
