I booked the Prosecco Afternoon Tea for myself & two friends. We were celebrating a special birthday. On arrival were all thought how special this place is. Once inside it just s gets better. It is beautiful. The seating is very comfortable & spacious so you are not sitting too close to any other tables.
We had a nice glass of chilled Prosecco before the Afternoon Tea. The finger sandwiches were very fresh & tasty. The cakes & scones were jam & cream were super too. Also the Tea was very good. The service was superb, very attentive without being too fussy.

The atmosphere is one of glamour, but feels welcoming, warm and bright with beautiful decor , exactly what you need on a dull November afternoon! We were presented with champagne followed by a delicious afternoon tea , with sandwiches and mouth watering cakes, scones , biscuits and an Eton mess to finish, with plentiful tea. Really enjoyed it , would recommend.

We booked Afternoon Tea - I was a little disappointed as when I initially booked they advised the sort of sandwiches that we would receive would be things like Salmon - Cream Cheese - Ham. However we received Cheddar cheese and Chutney - Tuna mayonnaise and a plain cucumber ?? There were only three sandwiches each which probably amounted to six slices of bread at a push and not the freshest either I have to say, Definitely somewhat stingy- the scones and cakes were OK not the best Afternoon Tea I have had and I would not recommend this place to any of my friends. I don't think it was value for money,

We have been regularly for a number of years but I am sorry to report that our recent visit was very disappointing. It took almost an hour from ordering to getting food. We were pleased a number of items had returned to the menu. Two of my friends chose the quiche, not a patch on the last time we visited and such small portions. In my case I chose the liver ( not sure where the bacon was) again a very small portion. The pudding was bizarre. A chocolate bombe was frozen solid and the "stones" were teeth breakers.Awful.I am sorry to be so negative but we were shocked. Could the chef have changed. Front of house staff were very pleasant

My daughter and I booked for the afternoon tea. The staff were so friendly and helpful they made us feel very comfortable and relaxed. The atmosphere in the restaurant was very pleasant and relaxed. The room was beautifully decorated with bright cheerful colours and lovely comfortable seating. The afternoon tea was delicious with a lovely selection of sandwiches and cakes. I cannot wait to go back again and have lunch with friends. The only negative was the car park was not big enough so was not able to park in there. Thank you The orangery for the wonderful experience.

The Orangery is a perfect venue to celebrate that special birthday, anniversary or just to treat yourself to a wonderful afternoon tea.
The setting is beautiful, calm and relaxing; the staff are also very attentive and accommodating.

Been many times but rather disappointed that the menu is smaller. Where is the pie, sausages, and the liver & bacon not to mention the St. Elphin's platter.
May have to try elsewhere. The food was well cooked and well presented. My large fish & chips wasn't very large. The curry on the specials was very nice.
