It was a wonderful afternoon tea. Beautiful dining area. The food was lovely but perhaps we could have been offered more sandwiches before we started the cakes. Otherwise the food, tea and service were fabulous.

We enjoy the pleasant surroundings and quiet atmosphere of the well appointed restaurant. We bring our visitors here so as to give me an easier way of entertaining them and being able to chat whilst being attended to by the caring staff - on our last trip by the lovely Donna.
The menu is interesting and well presented and using excellent ingredients making for interesting flavours. No dominant music here making for a relaxed ding experience.

Myself and a friend visited the restaurant for afternoon tea and the whole experience was enjoyable. The food was tasty and there was a good variety of both sandwiches and sweet treats.

I booked the Prosecco Afternoon Tea for myself & two friends. We were celebrating a special birthday. On arrival were all thought how special this place is. Once inside it just s gets better. It is beautiful. The seating is very comfortable & spacious so you are not sitting too close to any other tables.
We had a nice glass of chilled Prosecco before the Afternoon Tea. The finger sandwiches were very fresh & tasty. The cakes & scones were jam & cream were super too. Also the Tea was very good. The service was superb, very attentive without being too fussy.

The atmosphere is one of glamour, but feels welcoming, warm and bright with beautiful decor , exactly what you need on a dull November afternoon! We were presented with champagne followed by a delicious afternoon tea , with sandwiches and mouth watering cakes, scones , biscuits and an Eton mess to finish, with plentiful tea. Really enjoyed it , would recommend.

We booked Afternoon Tea - I was a little disappointed as when I initially booked they advised the sort of sandwiches that we would receive would be things like Salmon - Cream Cheese - Ham. However we received Cheddar cheese and Chutney - Tuna mayonnaise and a plain cucumber ?? There were only three sandwiches each which probably amounted to six slices of bread at a push and not the freshest either I have to say, Definitely somewhat stingy- the scones and cakes were OK not the best Afternoon Tea I have had and I would not recommend this place to any of my friends. I don't think it was value for money,

We have been regularly for a number of years but I am sorry to report that our recent visit was very disappointing. It took almost an hour from ordering to getting food. We were pleased a number of items had returned to the menu. Two of my friends chose the quiche, not a patch on the last time we visited and such small portions. In my case I chose the liver ( not sure where the bacon was) again a very small portion. The pudding was bizarre. A chocolate bombe was frozen solid and the "stones" were teeth breakers.Awful.I am sorry to be so negative but we were shocked. Could the chef have changed. Front of house staff were very pleasant
