Orangery was lovely, afternoon tea delicious (particularly the scones & cakes), excellent choice of teas (particularly the Rooibosch. Would you please let me know what brand you serve ) and the service was 'casual but efficient' - the waiters were helpful and tolerant. Only slight problem was the size of the table which became a bit 'conjested' . On the whole a thoroughly enjoyable experience -hopefully to be repeated.

Food was excellent in lovely surroundings. I think the only thing would be more people able to take orders. While someone is seating people and also taking orders some delays can occur.

Everything during our visit (our first) was excellent. The welcome was warm and genuine, understanding of gluten free requirements very good, the service friendly and efficient, and choice and quality of food was first class. The Orangery was also a very pleasant place to have a meal and the whole experience of eating there was very enjoyable. This was a birthday celebration, and for that the restaurant was perfect, but I'm not qualified to answer the questions below about suitability for other occasions for other people. We shall certainly visit again, and won't necessarily wait for a special occasion! We have annual tickets for entry to the Palace and grounds which are very good value, but to have to buy a day ticket just to allow entry to the Orangery may put some people off.

We had afternoon tea. The standard food was very good. It was no problem to have a Gluten free afternoon tea, which I had preordered.
The GF cake selection was amazing. The scone was not very pleasant and the sandwiches were quite dry. Gluten free bread tends to be quite dry and really needs lots of extra filling inside. Sandwich selection was good. Would have been nice to have some extra savoury Gluten free items like the mini quiche and salmon blinis that were on the standard menu. Both these are very easy to make gluten free.
The service was not great. We arrived 15 min early and we were turned away and asked to come back later! The person allocating the tables seemed pretty miserable! Our waiter was very friendly but not very allentive. It was really hard to get hold of anyone to order more tea or milk and also to get the bill. The staff weren't that busy by then but were engrossed in cleaning tables rather than dealing with their current customers.
I thought it was good value for money, but not a very relaxing experience.

We went for The Orangery Celebration Tea with Bubbles to celebrate my "significant" Birthday. One glass of bubbly would never have been enough, so we went for the option with three glasses! It was our first visit to The Orangery and we were not disappointed. The decor was stylish and the service attentive without being intrusive. The selection of sandwiches and cakes was delicious, but we weren't able to finish the good-sized helping. We have Blenheim Annual Passes and will be back for breakfast and lunch at The Orangery in the near future.

What a lovely experience! The Orangery is a delightful setting, which immediately made the occasion special. We were greeted by frIendly and welcoming staff. The young Italian lady who was either a manager or assistant manager, not quite sure, was particularly welcoming. We were shown to a window table, which was lovely and the various Afternoon Tea options explained to us. We were left to choose our option of tea from a lovely list. The English Breakfast tea we both chose was refreshing and tasty. We ordered a meat eating tea and a vegetarian, both came with 4 pleasant sandwiches and two very tasty savoury mini tartlets. The selection of cakes was excellent and the scone and clotted cream, in particular was delicious. This was overall a relaxing and memorable experience. We are already talking about returning for lunch!

We enjoyed the meal but as vegetarians found the choice very limiting.
