Lovely atmosphere. Friendly staff. Fantastic food. The honey feta cheese starter is awesome. The mixed grill is amazing! Good selection of wines and beers too. Highly recommend.

Boasting fresh and authentic Greek cuisine, The Olive Grove boasts a truly Mediterranean vibe, with whitewashed walls, white and blue chairs & clever lighting evoking the Santorini landscape. Inheriting extensive culinary tradition, the food is authentic and delicious.

With local ingredients, The Olive Grove menu excels with its grill, offering a large range of succulent meats and fish. Featured on the menu are dishes such as minced beef skewers with a pitta nest filled with rocket & roasted tomato, tomato dip & chips, oven-baked lemon & mustard glazed half-chicken served with thyme-infused baby potatoes, and oven-cooked seabass fillet in white-wine & basil sauce served with julienne carrots, courgettes & peppers.

Also on the menu is the ever-popular souvlaki – a wrap made of unleavened flatbread, tomatoes, red onions, tzatziki, and a chargrilled skewer of pork, chicken, beef, or vegetables. Complete the meal with the traditional baklava, or a chocolate halva.

The Olive Grove in Cambridge is just a 10-minute walk from Cambridge Rail Station. Cambridge Arts Theatre is also 10 minutes away.

I booked this place for a dinner for 8 of us. I have been to a number of Greek restaurants and this compares with one of the best. The atmosphere was relaxed, decor was inviting and reminded me of Greece and the staff were professional, courteous and friendly. The service was impeccable. When it comes to the food, I was impressed. You can tell the food was going to be good when the dips came out at the start. I loved the presentation and it was very tasty. There was also a great selection of food on the menu which suited all palettes.

I would throughly recommend this restaurant! And will be back again.

Food was delivered to the table cold. My lambs liver was full of sinews that made it unchewable. I told the waitress this and she argued with me that I must be mistaken. There was three of us out celebrating my daughters birthday, we had only a main course each and a bottle of water and the bill came to nearly 80.00 pounds. Non of us enjoyed the meal and we will never go there again.

The food was good, with deep and rich flavours. We ordered a Greek cab sauv: not so good at all. The service was a weakness, some plates cleared others not, delays, staff not in all cases mannerly, huge amount of the dishes listed on the menu turned out to be unavailable when we tried to order them.

I have eaten here before and my view is always the same. The food is great; the ambience excellent but the service is dreadful, not because the waiters/ waitresses are poor but because they are understaffed. It's always slow and my glass of wine didn't turn up. It's a pity because I'd go more often were it not for this.

Great food with a wide selection & good value as servings are large. Good service; will definitely go again.
