Booked thinking it would be an Cotswold pub but it is modern with little character and to make matters worse the Sunday lunch was not a carvery; even worse the roast beef was finished!

Very poor Sunday lunch. Dinner served lukewarm. Side dishes under cooked. Very disappointing. Have been before but this time not good. Told the server who said they would take it back and warm it up. Should have been given a fresh meal. Offered 10% off bill.

The food was lovely, cooked to perfection. Stunning views from our table.

Had to wait nearly an hour for food
The staff apologised and gave complimentary drinks and 10% off bill which we appreciated
The food was average to say we waited so long
Shame really as lovely looking place

    Dissapointing.
We have eaten there a few times before and thoroughly enjoyed our food.
This was the first time we had been on a Monday (previously been on Fridays)
I always have rump steak medium rare usually melt in your mouth steak which has previously always been cooked to perfection - but not last night over-cooked/tough and grissly even difficult to cut with a steak knife!
I gave up trying to eat it and so my partner finished it off (as he says you cannot leave a steak no matter how bad it is - of which I totally disagree)
I made no complaint last night as we were there to celebrate my fiancé 's birthday but we did pay the bill as quickly as possible and left.
