Sat beside the historic Arundel Castle, The Norfolk Arms Hotel is a former Georgian coaching inn that perfectly blends tradition with contemporary innovation. As well as an all-day menu, there is a snug bar area for chic drinks pre or post-dining.

Expertly prepared British classics on The Norfolk Arms Hotel menu include twice cooked Funtington belly pork with sour cherry reduction and creamed potatoes, as well as fish and chips battered with the hotel's signature Arundel Brewery beer. On the dessert side, there are delicate recipes like Chichester strawberry and rose water pavola, as well as honey and thyme panna cotta.

In the bar area, seasonally-changing cocktails are served alongside a full wine list. There is also a great selection of beers and ales from local breweries. Afternoon tea at The Norfolk Arms Hotel Arundel is served with an irresistible collection of home-baked treats.

Rich in history and tradition, The Norfolk Arms Hotel is moments from the River Arun, and just 14 minutes' walk from Arundel Rail Station.

Should have had options for the afternoon tea and options for cream tea etc on a menu.

We had very good dinner in the hotel. We were guests so it was part of our mid-week break package and it was worth every penny. The menu is sensibly not too extensive and the wine list has a good selection of wines at reasonable prices. All of our three courses were very good and the service was very attentive. We finished our wine and had coffee in the very comfortable lounge in front of a lovely open fire.

Booking service good, the restaurant not so good. My friends meal was cold they offered to heat it up in microwave but then it would of just made the pork dry and it wasn't very nice anyway so she opted to have the burger like the rest of us, we had finished by the time her's came out.
