From the early 18th century, The Nag's Head Innnear Woking has fantastic views over farmland with beautiful gardens from which you can dine. Boasting British favourites on its menu, it values its rustic history and thus features a toasty log fire, classy stone floors and other traditional trinkets.

Hearty Sunday roasts and trusty British dishes head The Nag's Head Inn menu, and a range just for kids offers mini versions of pub favourites. Signature Vintage pies designed by celebrity chef James Martin offer fillings like beef & merlot with buttered peas, while The Nag's Head Inn ‘Vintage classics’ menu includes lemon & garlic-roasted chicken with seasoned chips.

Paying homage to the Great British pub, the Vintage Inn bar stock includes cask-conditioned beers, real ales and a meticulously compiled wine list. Thirst-quenching offerings include seasonal non-alcoholic cocktails and freshly-pressed juices, and rich coffee is brewed freshly throughout the day.

At just a 12-minute walk from Brookwood Station, or 9 minutes in the car from Woking, The Nag's Head Inn has a country setting but is close to the town.

I have known this pub since the 70s, used to be called The Hunter's Lodge, in recent years now known as The Nag's Head. In all the years that I have visited this hostelry, under both names, I have always found the food and service to be very good.

I did point out to the waitress that when I went on to the website for The Nag's Head to book the table, they still had photos of The Hunter's Lodge !!

Good food and good service.Although we did go when it wasn't busy mid week lunch time, when i went last time they didn't have what i ordered so the experience wasn't so good and the staff weren't as good.

It's a nice place with good service. Food was average, pizza seriously overcooked, crispy duck on salad was hard to chew and the portion of seafood linguine was just 2 spoonful...

This was our 1st visit to The Nag's Head, it was very busy, and at first we were seated at an unsuitable table ( from a room point of view ) but we were quickly moved to a better one. Service was quick and efficient, although there were a couple of small issues ( missing elements from 2 of the meals ) this was quickly rectified and the food itself was very good. I personally had the Lamb which was fantastic, my group had steaks and sea bass fillets and everyone enjoyed their meals. Although we are not from the area, we do visit often and will definitely return to The Nag's head again in the future.

We came for mothers day and although the restaurant was very busy the staff and service were excellent.

Busy Sunday lunch time in a lovely restaurant/pub setting. Very pleasant staff. Service was quick and attentive considering how busy it was.
Great menu choice. Let down only by the quality of one of the meals. The Roast Lamb was so tough and stringy, the elderly relative whose celebration we were there for could not eat the meat and the roast potatoes were so overcooked she was unable to cut them. Very unlucky as our other choices were very nice. Otherwise, a really nice dining experience.

Great venue. Family friendly. Easy parking. The staff were excellent - relaxed, friendly and unhurrying even though very busy with a full restaurant. Good selection for vegetarians. Some unusual dishes. Good desserts. Good place to met up with friends.
