From the early 18th century, The Nag's Head Inn Knaphill has fantastic views over farmland with beautiful gardens from which you can dine. Boasting British favourites on its menu, it values its rustic history and thus features a toasty log fire, classy stone floors and other traditional trinkets.

Hearty Sunday roasts and trusty British dishes head The Nag's Head Inn menu, and a range just for kids offers mini versions of pub favourites. Signature Vintage pies designed by celebrity chef James Martin offer fillings like beef & merlot with buttered peas, while The Nag's Head Inn ‘Vintage classics’ menu includes lemon & garlic-roasted chicken with seasoned chips.

Paying homage to the Great British pub, the Vintage Inn bar stock includes cask-conditioned beers, real ales and a meticulously compiled wine list. Thirst-quenching offerings include seasonal non-alcoholic cocktails and freshly-pressed juices, and rich coffee is brewed freshly throughout the day.

At just a 12-minute walk from Brookwood Station, or 9 minutes in the car from Woking, The Nag's Head Inn has a country setting but is close to the town.

    Great food.
    Very relaxing.
Wish the portion sides were slightly larger but did allow room for dessert.

It was good; we were given a table in the middle at first but it was no problem to move to somewhere out of a corridor.

Have dined here many times before and always enjoyed the food. The food on this occasion was again great, but the service extremely poor. We waited 10-15 minutes after finishing our main course to be offered a look at the dessert menu and then our waitress completely disappeared. Having made our choice we waited another 10-15 minutes and then gave up - waitresses completely ignoring us, despite our trying to gain their attention. In the end we gave up and walked to the bar to pay (without dessert). No one seemed to care that we hadn't been served and it would have been really easy just to leave without paying. A great disappointment and will affect our decision to return here any time soon.

We had a delicious meal which was a lovely end to a good day. Our waitress was attentive, efficient and funny.

Had lunch at the Nag's Head with two friends. Very good food - with a good selection of fish, meat & vegetarian dishes - and very efficient, friendly service. I frequently dine at the Nag's Head and have never been disappointed by the food or service.

The interior is lovely, however we were disappointed by the food and service. The main courses took a long time to arrive, some had obviously been under a heater for some time as some of our food had the giveaway dried crust on the top and was no longer hot. The children's meal didn't come with the advertised salad. When we asked the waitress, instead of an apology, she asked if we still wanted it, giving the kids the perfect opportunity to say turn down their vegetables. Unfortunately we won't be returning as our party agreed that there are plenty of better options for pub food in the area.

Food and service excellent but we did notice that the windows inside and out were filthy
