Going to the montagu restaurant was such a pleasure, the churchill hotel is a very beautiful building, once inside it's really lovely, we went for the champagne brunch which is truly wounderfull, staff is very attentive, and kept your glass refill without having to ask, the choices was excellent Something for everybody pallet, pommary champagne & wine unlimited, as well as food unlimit , the live singing and jazz was a nice touch, it,s been a few years since we had been ,but can't wait to go back

Excellent service. Waiter was very helpful and got the chef to make some changes to the starter and mains in a rather dull and unexciting menu with a lot of cheap pork which we don't eat. We were also given a great non alcoholic fruity cocktail. However the plates were very well presented. Desserts way too sweet. Avoid popcorn icecream. It's just a crazy idea with horrible bits of soggy popcorn. Matre d lady was quite aggressive and abrupt. A bit frightening.

First class environment and service : very attractive dining room and pianist playing pleasant background music. All service staff attentive but not overbearing. Food presented well and in a modern fashion and tasty. Only fault mussel starter cold and fixed price menu limited options

the food was OK but no wow. The price is different from what was quoted with my bookings. I didn't bother to querry them as they did give me a discount of 20% due to disruption half way through the meal from a false fire alarm.

We went as a group of 6 for my 26th and had a completely faultless experience. The staff were perfectly attentive, live piano music maintained a relaxed atmosphere, and the food was packed full of flavour and beautifully presented!
The £25 deal through bookatable made it incredible value for money and saved over £20 per person! Highly recommended.

Good varied choice even though a set menu, each dish our table of four had were all superb, combined with very pleasant and professional service. Similarly an excellent bottle of white Rioja for the house wine. Live pianist was fine, although have much preferred as on previous visits the Jazz and Blues pianist they should have

A visit to The Montagu is always a nice experience and yesterday was no exception. TGhe room itself is attractive and the tables well spaced. My husband and I had lobster bisque and sea bass, both of which were delicious.
