Since renovation this pub has provided a comprehensive menu. The Sunday roast was wxcellent. They are getting it right in regard to the locally sourced produce.

Attractive restaurant, very friendly service and delicious food - especially the sticky toffee pudding. More staff would have been appreciated, as service was very slow even though it was Sunday lunch.

Very nice Restaurant nice atmosphere. Food was excellent there were four of us for lunch, each of us had something different from the menu. Food came out hot and fresh.

A lovely little pub. It was a warm evening but we sat by the window and it was nice and airy. Plenty of room in the seating area and everyone was very friendly. The salads were very good and ice cold water was available without having to ask. Service was quick and friendly too.

This was an unexpectedly pleasant experience for us, having never even been in this pub before - we only chose it because it was within walking distance of where we were staying. The dining room was a nice space, with a light, airy feeling, & the staff were welcoming & helpful. The menu had an interesting selection of dishes, with a range of prices to suit most budgets. I ordered a burger n chips, & my other half a pulled-pork ciabatta. The burger was as good as it gets, nicely cooked & well presented, with delicious fries & with an interesting cucumber & mustard-seed relish on the side. The ciabatta looked equally as good, although I didn't try any. I had a strawberry pavlova for pudding, which was delicious, while Alison had the brownie with ice-cream, which she said was very good. When the bill came, it seemed very reasonable for such good quality & tasty food.

It was not the best meal I had eaten there, i was a little dispointed as I was entertaining friends who had not yet experienced The Milton Arms I felt an opportunity may have been lost to gain new clients within Dorset. However having said that, the food was still very good and it is excellent valve.. this was my 6th time of eating at the Milton Arms and I it most certainly wont be the last

We dined here for Sunday lunch as a party of 4. The refurbished dining room is bright and contemporary and together with the friendly and attentive staff provided an excellent place to pass a relaxed mealtime with good company. We chose the Sunday roast options of slow roasted beef or roast chicken both of which were delicious and accompanied by copious fresh vegetables. An appreciated touch is the supply of carafes of water to the table which are replenished as often as required. If you have room for desserts the New Forest Pavlova is to die for as is the Sticky Toffee Pudding. I have dined here on numerous occasions and have always been impressed with the attention to detail, changing menus, excellent choice of draught beers, respectable wines and the whole ambiance of the pub. A very welcome addition to the Winterborne Valley. Keep up the good work. Thoroughly recommended.
