Excellent. Very professional service at table, very good cooking. We were extremely pleased to have a window table looking into the garden.

Very nice dining room and food service. Delicious starter. Main course good but not fantastic

Great quality dining. We chose no starters, but were given a small 'pate' on a crouton each. served on a slate. with bread 'rolls'. Lovely idea - bread in a flowerpot!
And then a surprise : raspberry sorbet before our desserts. And then, coffee with homemade chocolates. WOW: 8 chocs and a large split strawberry.lovingly presented, again on a slate. Eye catching and mouth-wateringly fantastic! Well done! How often is the menu changed? Could be a problem for those staying longer with limited tastes. But no issue for us.

Overall a nice meal, restaurant and atmosphere. Service was a little slow, but it was busy and we weren't in a rush. The wine list is out of date and would prefer to be informed when a wine has been substituted. Generous portion sizes. There was no chocolate option for dessert!

Sunday lunch with two friends.Room rather dark the tearoom is much more attractive.
Salmon good ,veg poor much too hard. One meal very poor and not eaten.
Pudding fillings good but pastry very poor.
Staff excellent kind and sympathetic.Cost of uneaten meal refunded.
I would have afternoon tea or snack in the bar/tearoom area again.

We were disappointed that macarons were presented as a nut free option when their main ingredient is ground almonds.
    Sandwiches and scones were good.
Very limited staff presence in the restaurant.
