Nestled on the edge of Clent Hills, The Lyttelton Arms is a refurbished gastro pub with a sizable patio for outdoor dining, serving up wholesome modern British cuisine. With brick walls, open log fires, leather sofas & wooden floors, this country-style pub is ideal for an intimate gathering or a traditional Sunday roast.

With chefs given the opportunity to train at cookery schools in Spain and Italy, The Lyttelton Arms menu features modern signature recipes made using the finest available ingredients. As well as creative daily-changing specials, favourites include king prawn, crab and chorizo linguine, or spit-roasted chicken with lemon & garlic confit. A kids’ menu and Sunday roasts also feature, and desserts include rich vanilla and chocolate gelato with home-baked cookies.

The result of a treasured partnership with Rothschild wine merchants, the cellar showcases many fine wines, while token real ales and premium spirits are found at The Lyttelon Arms bar. Nostalgic British nibbles and eclectic sharing platters bursting with international flavours offer more laidback dining.

The Lyttelton Arms in Stourbridge is just a 4-minute drive from Hagley Rail Station.

When you dine out regularly you sometimes get used to the bog-standard food served but my wife & i really enjoyed our visit to the Lyttelton Arms. What amazed us when we sat at our table was there were cushions for you to use when sitting on the wooden chairs. We both had starters which were different to what we are used to. I had the black pudding potato cake which looks like a Scotch egg when served while my wife had the chicken liver, sherry & balsamic parfait which we know as pate on toast. For mains i had the traditional fish & chips but their was nothing traditional about it the fish was beautifully lightly battered while the chips were definitely chunky as described on the menu. Wife has Wagyu burger with the trimmings. She had to foresake the bun because of the quantity on the bun. After our meal we went outside onto their spacious outdoor area. Overall we had a very good experience hee & would recommend this pub for grub & ambience.

I have been to this restaurant quite often, I really like the food and also the decor.

Waited 80 minutes for food which was very disappointing when it arrived not sure how any chef / cook would put fruit and sword fish together on a plate, the steak my partner had was okay but again the vegetables that came with it where not
I also think that cheap paper serviettes plus no salt or pepper (have to ask waiter's to bring) on table let the whole experience down

Lovely décor, nice place and will go again, good food and drinks selection, car parking easy. Good staff, attentive, we had a very polite and helpful New Zealand waitress.

Very relaxed classy gastro pub. Had a variety of meals there. All very nice just need slightly bigger portions. One time we did have to wait an exceptionally long time between courses when we dined for a special occasion but we had our desserts free as an apology. Overall a lovely place to dine or just a drink. One of my favourite places
