Overall our afternoon tea was ok...it didn't feel like anything particularly special for the price we paid, & for that reason I wont be returning. From the pictures, menu & price I just thought it would be better than it was. The venue was nice, but having tea in the lobby just a few feet from the entrance didn't make our experience feel exclusive. The food was ok (& you were offered more which was great) but of the 5 sandwiches 2 were not to my taste & several were a little dry where they had obviously been left out in the air a little too long. The desserts were however very good & we couldn't fault the service. Having had afternoon tea at the Ritz & Dorchester (which granted were more expensive) I would definitely recommend paying the extra if you are looking for a truly wonderful/memorable experience.

Beautiful location but very inattentive staff, not a nice experience or lovely afternoon.

It is a beautiful venue, with stunning flower arrangements. The overall High Tea experience wasn't great, poor service and extremely expensive for what is served. The restaurant responded well to our "unhappiness" and amended our bill accordingly. Hats off to the restaurant for responding quickly and although, it wasn't our best High Tea, did leave the restaurant feeling that our concerns had been noted and addressed.

I took my mother to the Corinthia/ Lobby Lounge for a Christmas treat! Wow What a treat!
Beautiful festive decor, music and friendly staff who make the experience magical. The hostesses take the time to explain all the treats and different tea's. If you didn't like something on the sandwich list you could pick an alternative. The servings were just enough and we were offered extra and could try more than one tea blend. The treats were pieces of art work and tasted wonderful.
We didn't feel rushed and could relax and enjoy the surroundings. This is a special place and we will be back again!

    Hi
Very nice place to have afternoon tea.
Food was amazing, sevice was very good. The only thing that let it down was that it was very cold in the lobby. It made it very uncomfortable and took the pleasure out of the experience.

    Thanks
