Reserved a table for 6. We ordered off the set menu and all agreed that the food was delicious and the service was fabulous. This is my favorite small, intimate restaurant. A definite 5 star rating.

We arrived at noon on Sunday and were the only people in the restaurant the whole time we were there. No atmosphere. Christmas decorations still up me January. On ordering we were disappointed to be told there were no vegetables to have with our main courses, only salad which was not appropriate with our hot dishes - coq au vin and lamb Wellington . Suggest they keep some frozen veg in stock or even go out and get some fresh!

The salmon and triangle starters were lovely. Generous portions for the main. Overall very good quality vs price. Fast service.

Very cosy place, pleasant staff, we felt a bit rushed but the food was very good :)
Nice evening there, too the french music wasn't louder, we could barely hear it upstairs.

Sweet little restaurant but the food was poor quality. The French onion soup was tasteless as was the sauce on both the chicken and the lamb. The chocolate mouse was very synthetic. I wouldn't return here

Fantastic meals. The £12.50 for 3 courses is such good value. Choice of 6 starters and main and 4 puds. Beautiful home cooked food large portions and so tasty. Very helpful staff would recommend to all and definitely go again.

I had the onion soup, chicken supreme and the apple pie as my three courses. All were delicious. As I looked around the full restaurant, every dish I saw on the tables looked equally as tasty. Service and atmosphere were both wonderful.
