Fish, pies, chips were superb.
The onion rings were slightly soft and wouldn't order them again.

A haven for fish and chip lovers, The Lighthouse is a contemporary eatery with a diner feel that specialises in this British classic, along with a fantastic selection of craft beers. Live sports are shown on the TVs, and there are pool tables and arcade machines as well.

The fish and chips on the Lighthouse menu attracts people from miles around. All the fish is from certified sustainable sources, delivered fresh daily, and is never frozen. There is classic or 'beer of the week' batter, and other classics options like breaded scampi. Golden, fluffy chips are made with the finest British potatoes, and are offered with additions like curry sauce, gravy, and mushy peas. Celebrated Pieminister pies are also served, and there are weekly special deals for senior citizens.

A huge and regularly updated selection of craft beers from around Britain and beyond are served at The Lighthouse Northampton, ranging from wheat beers to dark stouts. For a sweet end to the meal, there are classic ice creams.

Flying the flag for fish and chips in Britain, The Lighthouse is a great blend of tradition and contemporary style. Northampton Rail Station is 7 minutes' drive away.
