Best restaurant features, staff are very friendly and helpful, relaxed settings, food very good large proportions ( menu; it is a bit too "meaty" and could do with some "healthy/ low fat options)

Nestled in the beautiful Dorset countryside, The Lamb’s Green Inn near Corfe Mullen was previously a charming farmhouse. The dedication to traditional British cuisine remains, as does the pastoral feel and appearance, through the distinctive partially thatched roof, classic red brickwork and oak beams. You can savour the seasonally-prepared food by the cosy log-fire, or outside in the al fresco beer garden.

Hearty Sunday roasts and trusty British dishes head The Lambs’ Green Inn menu, and a range just for kids offers mini versions of pub favourites. Signature Vintage pies offer fillings like beef & merlot with buttered peas, while The Lambs’ Green Inn ‘Vintage classics’ menu includes lemon & garlic-roasted chicken with seasoned chips.

Paying homage to the Great British pub, the Vintage Inn bar stock includes cask-conditioned beers, real ales and a meticulously compiled wine list. Thirst-quenching offerings include seasonal non-alcoholic cocktails and freshly-pressed juices, and rich coffee is brewed freshly throughout the day.

The Lambs’ Green Inn is only 3 minutes’ drive from Corfe Mullen and 4 minutes from Wimborne Minster.

Starter was fine, main course of Chicken Alfredo was tasteless. We received 10% discounts as we left before we ordered dessert as we were waiting to be served for so long. Arrived at 7.40pm and was still waiting for dessert menu at 9.40pm. Not returning in a hurry!!

We visit the Lambs Green often and have invited lots of friends and relatives to join us. The service is always pleasant and I have often left feedback regarding the friendliness of the staff. Yesterday Tuesday 6th June we visited with friends and felt less than happy with the meal. I did comment to our waitress that my own meal was swimming in oil and left all the salad leaves as I couldn't separate them from the oil puddle. I looked at my friend's fish finger sandwich which consisted of a large insipid bun but understood the filling was ok. Her husband unfortunately ordered a small portion risotto which was minute but he said it was very tasty.
Overall the visit was pleasant although we thought the food was not up to the normal standard.

Warm welcome, good service but the kitchen let the side down. The food didn't have the "wow" factor.

Service was fantastic but food was just ok, nothing amazing for the price. Fish was very greasy in the fish & chips and the chicken pie, although looked lovely, had hardly any filling. Best part was desert elderflower and custard tart.

Food was very good - however 90minute wait for it to arrive I think is a little excessive! We were warned there was a 20 - 25 minute delay - so we ordered some Garlic bread not realising that this delayed our main courses further
