An old coaching inn dating back to 1480, The Lamb Inn Axbridge is a beautifully traditional pub with oak beams and inviting open fires. Sat in the heart of Axbridge square, the pub also has a skittle alley, pool table and juke box.

Dishes on The Lamb Inn menu range from gourmet British pub classics to more international flavours. Favourites include pork and Ashton Press Cider sausages with mash and buttered cabbage, traditional fish pie, and a choice of smoky pulled pork or delicately spiced cajun chicken burgers.

Ales from the local Butcombe Brewery are served at The Lamb Inn Somerset, as well as a carefully crafted wine list with bottles from around the world.

With al fresco seating in the picturesque Axbridge Square, The Lamb Inn is close to several walking trails in the area, and 21 minutes' drive from Weston Milton Rail Station.

Great food, good service, nice place.
All my party, 6 of us, enjoyed starters, main meals, coffee and drinks. The steaks were cooked just right and the vegetarian risotto from the specials board got a thumbs up from the veggie.
It was my mothers 91st birthday and she really enjoyed the lamb. Bit noisy and busy but that was due to a carnival in the square that we hadn't expected.
Very friendly staff. We will definitely visit again
