Housed in a stunning old fire station, The Kings Head sits proudly atop Winchmore Hill. With its delectable dishes and open fires, The Kings Head London is a unique and quirky gastro pub in the north of London.

Using only fresh and seasonal produce, The King's Head menu is determined by the local market food and therefore changes on a daily basis. The predominantly British dishes display a real understanding for good food and a passion for fresh, local produce. Frequent dishes include the delicious pork fillet with creamed petit pois and an exceptional swordfish dish.

Whilst the suits of armour add to the quirkiness of the The Kings Head, the plush red and purple fabrics further enhance the almost-regal feel, in this cosy and elegant pub.

Just a 3-minute walk from Winchmore Hill Rail Station, The Kings Head London is also within walking distance of the beautiful Gravelands Park.

We booked on the basis of the menu online, that was not there menu actually served which almost caused us to leave as it did not suit the diners. No apology. The booking was chaos, 3 on line attempts, 2 phone calls and the pub still got them name wrong and booked two tables instead of one, then chased by phone while we were eating to asking if we're were coming!

Nice steak, good vibe but drinks are a bit pricey. Overall good place.

The whole evening was faultless really, easy booking, good table and good food. The wine and prosecco were really tasty and a good standard, the only issue at all would be that when the bar got busier the table service was very slow and intermittent, but overall a really good meal and would definitely return!

The food was lovely had the barbercued lamb an mint burger. Atmosphere was buzzing. The staff were very pleasant but service just a little slow. But I think that was probably due to it being so busy. Overall had a fab evening thank you.
