A fantastic old building, The King’s Head - Billericay has a unique black and white timbered appearance, dating back to 1750. Serving well-loved pub cuisine, which can be enjoyed from the pretty beer garden in summer or by the log-fire in winter, it has a rustic oak and brick design. Adorning the walls and surfaces are other pastoral trinkets, such as cosy candles and art.

Hearty Sunday roasts and trusty British dishes head The King’s Head menu, and a range just for kids offers mini versions of pub favourites. Signature Vintage pies offer fillings like beef & merlot with buttered peas, while The King’s Head ‘Vintage classics’ menu includes lemon & garlic-roasted chicken with seasoned chips.

Paying homage to the Great British pub, the Vintage Inn bar stock includes cask-conditioned beers, real ales and a meticulously compiled wine list. Thirst-quenching offerings include seasonal non-alcoholic cocktails and freshly-pressed juices, and rich coffee is brewed freshly throughout the day.

The Kingfisher is a country haven, but just 6 minutes’ drive from Billericay.

Food & service good - recommend the rib of beef & the caesar salad - excellent sticky toffee pud & the apple pie too. Wine prices a bit high.

We had a party of four for evening dinner I can recommend the pies as they are home made and hot the only let down was the veg was cold and hard but the service was good and it was a lovely evening

Great meal and once again, we were not disappointed. Service was good even though it was very busy and the food was top notch.

Excellent meal as always. It was very busy so there as a slight wait for our food but not unreasonable for a busy Sunday. Wine and beer selection was very good, just a shame the portions are so generous- we never get to try the delicious sounding starters! Highly recommend the Sunday Platter and alcoholic ginger beer.
