Excellent food - belly pork was delicious - although a larger portion would not have gone amis

Superb food. You can immediately recognise the Pony & Trap DNA.
    It really was outstanding.
Four of us dined on a Sunday afternoon, fish cakes with warm tartare sauce and pickled red onion garnish was a delight, chicken liver parfait lovely. Roast beef was a beautifully thick cut of rare sirloin with well-rendered fat - lovely stuff! Pork belly looked almost as good, I only tried the crackling, which was exactly as it should be; sticky, crunchy, porky as you like. Veg all on point; greens crisp & vibrant, cauliflower cheese, rich sumptuous and still with enough bite. Roast potatoes were perhaps not the best I've ever had but not bad - I'm nit picking. Gravy superb.
For pudding we had chocolate torte with creme fraiche sorbet (my god - you have to try this) and a lovely crumble with custard.
Food was an easy 10/10 and for £23 for 3 courses, amazing value.
Pub is family friendly, so as the afternoon progressed it got pretty hectic. If you are after something more peaceful, I'd suggest booking on an evening / weekday.
Service was a bit slow after initial welcome & order taking but that's understandable given how busy they got.
I would absolutely recommend the Kenny, it's on the way to becoming a famous little place, Michelin star territory once they get up to speed. I look forward to many more meals there.

Great evening at The Kensington Arms. Really good service and fantastic wine (we loved the fact we could get a half bottle carafe each so we could try different wines). The rare onglet steak was perfectly cooked with brilliant sides and we couldn't resist the desserts, which were so delicious. The dining room is incredibly comfortable and well decorated - a lovely ambience. Overall, a really great dining experience and we will definitely be back, soon!

Food really delicious. Possibly a bit pricey. Disappointed they don't do a set lunch menu for £10 for two courses or something like that. Everyone else does.
