An excellent mid week birthday meal for my son. Very good welcome, pleasant pub style surroundings, but much better than pub style food which was truly a pleasure. Waiting team of enthusiastic young men could not be faulted at all. Unprompted birthday petits fours were a complete joy.

It was good to come and visit you again after some years. (The 'Jack' was my husbands favourite eating place.) The atmosphere and the service was as good as before, the staff friendly and attentive - thank you for a good meal after a long light from USA via Dublin! I did find the texture of my faggot too fine - it melted into the gravy and was messy to eat with the over refined mashed potato! However, I loved the taste and my friend thoroughly enjoyed her meal. No disabled parking?

Booking was easy. Service was very good. Standard of food was excellent. Price was high for this area, particularly the price of wine.

From the welcome on arrival to the departure service was excellent. The fish dishes were good and accompaniments adequate. Possibly the goats cheese option as a main was a bit too much of a good thing but otherwise all was excellently cooked and served

Amazing dining experience! Welcoming and attentive service. Food was delicious using quality local ingredients. Little extras including amuse bouche and petit fours added a nice touch.
