I am yet to have a bad meal here. The food was exceptional and the service impeccable. A sign of a good establishment is consistency in all aspects & The Inn remain consistent.

Housed within a history-steeped 18th-century farmhouse, The Inn at Shipley is an atmospheric pub and restaurant from Brunning and Price. Modern British gastro-pub cuisine partners a sophisticated wine list and locally-brewed beers.

Contemporary international influences on The Inn at Shipley menu bring together chargrilled tandoori halloumi, with toasted coconut and fresh pineapple, and a colourful Mediterranean gorgonzola and roasted red pepper lasagne, which is served with a chicory, apple and grape salad. British classics satisfy with a hefty 10oz rump steak and a comforting chicken, ham and leek pie.

Dining at The Inn at Shipley also includes light lunch options and a children’s menu, while the wine list features exquisite picks from French and New World vineyards. Rustic wooden beams, a roaring open fireplace and vibrant terracotta tiles characterise the interior at this Shipley pub-diner.

The Inn at Shipley sits on the A454 Bridgnorth Road, 8 miles from the centre of Wolverhampton.

Very nice surroundings only issue for me was portion size , I don't like loads of food on my plate but veg lasagne was tiny , very tasty but too small for the price and only came with one slice of bread and a green salad so even I was still hungry afterwards .

What a fab place. Good choice of meals which were different. Salmon fishcakes very tasty as was the marinated chicken. Wild mushroom tart was exquisite. Portion size good and food arrived hot. Friendly staff. Lovely decor, well maintained gardens. Would highly recommend and we will definitely return soon.

The food and service was good and although a little more expensive than some similar quality places, would say overall good value. It was not a problem but we ate at 7.00 on Friday evening and had a table near to the entrance and bar area, so it did feel a little like we were eating in a pub rather than in a restaurant. Will definitely visit again but next time will request a table in the main restaurant area.

Everything was wonderful - the location, the venue the service and the food was just perfect. We were a party of 8 and everyone loved their food. So tasty and beautifully presented.

Everything was fine but the wait between courses was excessive it even took15minutes to tell us one of our ordered deserts was not available. The restaurant seemed understaffed.
