Lovely food. Quite a wait at the bar and for food but was extremely busy and the staff were going as fast as they possibly could

With beamed ceilings and open fires, The Hunters Hall Inn is a homely retreat in the village of Kingscote. A 16th-century coaching inn, the pub serves up seasonal dishes alongside a host of fine wines and real ales.

Specialising in trusty, home-cooked British recipes, The Hunters Hall menu is made up of time-honoured classics and inventive chef’s specials. The signature beef & ale pie is a creation from much-loved celebrity chef Tom Kerridge, while favourite world flavours include sizzling steak fajitas, or aubergine and roast beetroot curry. Gourmet sandwiches and jacket potatoes are served throughout the day, and guests can round things off with an indulgent crumble, cheesecake or sundae.

The drinks list at The Hunters Hall pub features carefully-chosen beers and international wines, and a lengthy list of soft drinks. Younger diners are not forgotten, with a varied menu for both lunch and dinner, and a mini roast served on Sundays.

Amidst the charming countryside of The Cotswolds, find The Hunters Hall Inn a 20-minute drive from Stroud.

It was the worst Sunday Lunch ever

Not the best mixed grill, steak and chicken over cooked. Lovely puddings and Staff very friendly.

Excellent service and food, although the different menus were a little confusing. To be presented with three different menus is not, in my opinion, a good idea.
Nevertheless, the meal was very good. All four of us had different dishes so we had a fair range of meals upon which to comment.
The Hunters Hall went through a bad patch a while ago. Its food was poor and the service was indifferent, but it seems to have picked itself up, so let's hope that continues.

Went for a weekday lunch - the restaurant was surprisingly busy so it is obviously a popular place. There was a good range of food on offer with a 'value' menu and a specials menu as well as the normal menu. So lots of choices of traditional pub style food which was delicious. Staff were very friendly and the service was fine. The only downsides were the room was a bit on the cold side (there was another room with a log fire going which was lovely and warm but it was full up) and there wasn't a great choice of beers. I would have liked a local beer or two but the only beer on offer was Greene King.

Staff very friendly and helpful from entering the door, service was good not rushed just nice for a relaxing meal, atmosphere was a very friendly relaxing ambience. Food was well cooked and presented and very enjoyable. This was our first visit so can only check the one item may return in the future as we do not go out for meals only perhaps once a year but would certainly visit again.
