The atmosphere and service is great. The difference ambients in the place and the restaurant per se is all interesting. Yet, the food is not noteworthy. The rabbit and the risotto were good - the rest just OK. Plus, value for food is not really good - but I guess you pay for the whole experience.

Initially opened as a pop-up restaurant in May 2014, House of Peroni will return to London’s dining scene in October 2014. The culinary vision of Creative Director Lorenzo Di Francesco and Head Chef Daniele Miconi - who formerly worked under 3 Michelin-starred chef Heinz Beck - House of Peroni offers refined Italian cuisine.

As with every typical Italian meal, the House of Peroni menu will be divided into 4 sections: antipasti, primi piatti, secondi piatti and dolce. With the dishes in each section inspired by the cultural melting pot that is Rome. Focusing on strong flavours and seasonal ingredients sourced from the countryside surrounding the capital, expect dishes like slow-roast rabbit, crusted Roman lamb, Roman pecorino cheese or Amatriciana-style pasta.

This top floor restaurant in London overlooks a picturesque square and is the new temporary home of Bottega Wapping: renowned for its inventive, boundary-pushing recipes which showcase unusual textures, colours and flavours.

House of Peroni is a 3-minute walk from Holborn Tube Station. The Restaurant at The House of Peroni is open to diners aged 18+ only.
